The recent factory reset seems to have fixed the battery issues on my OPO and also a Bluetooth issue I was having so looks like I'll be making do with it until OP6. Can you still buy the 3 and 3T from the site? 3T seemed to say something about Vodafone and I couldn't even see a price for the 3.

They have partnered with O2 in the UK since the launch of the 3T.

It's a real shame that seemingly every manufacturer that puts out a flagship phone at an affordable price eventually succumbs to the same kind of price gouging as everyone else.

Still very happy with my 1+3T .

Hasn't missed a beat since I've owned it and it's lovely to use.
Won't be upgrading soon.

Yeah, I think OP are now established and don't feel the need for ultra competitive pricing. I bought my OPO for £279 so £449 - £499 for their latest offering doesn't feel like a deal or any kind of incentive. The LG G6 feels more tempting for £350.

Yeah, and we can't even rely on the Nexus programme anymore for a well priced, good phone.

You can understand the incremental increase in price over the past few years as OnePlus actually grows into a large company but they're now pushing themselves on a equal standing with everyone else and coming up short.

The battery life sounds mediocre with the years long standard four hours of screen time, and the camera that bumped the price up from £329 last year doesn't sound worth it either. Considering it's missing a heap of features the newest phones have the OnePlus 5 appears to be more like an overpriced mid-range phone, which is a massive disappointment as I was hoping this might have been something worth having for three years.

Seems to be a shitty time to think about upgrading then, as even with all the negatives this is still probably the 'best' value phone around.

One Plus 5 will still have an AMOLED pentile 1080P screen.

Either go for 2560x1080 AMOLED pentile or do a normal IPS screen with RGB subpixel pattern.

My kingdom for an AMOLED screen with a normal subpixel pattern!

Seems to be a fair few places selling it for around the £350 mark, just type LG G6 into Google.

No idea about any of the places suggested though.

Nokia might be our best bet going forwards for an affordable close-to-stock Android phone. I think they're due to announce some new handsets soon.

I did this by severing my real arms and replacing them with super-human cyborg arms.

The lumia devision got bought by Microsoft (windows phones), the Nokia brand got sold to some chinese company who are now making phones under the Nokia name, they are are not Nokia phones, someone just owns the name and is using it.

7 days until upgrade, think I'm probably going to go for Pixel XL as my replacement for my LG G4.

I'm very happy with my OP3T. It's the best phone I've ever used and I don't see myself upgrading for a couple of years.

Check out my YouTube channel!

Not tempted to stay on a rolling contract till October/November when Pixel 2 is out? I really dislike the idea of buying a flagship phone that's been out for more than 6 months unless you find a seriously good deal and last I looked at, Pixels were at Galaxy and iPhone money brackets still.

Still using my OPO as it does everything I need it to do without problem. I wonder how many people actually need a new phone vs just want one for FOMO.

Nope, they are considerably cheaper than a S8, G6 etc. and to be fair there is nothing interesting about new phones, the processor gets faster and more RAM happens but that doesn't really matter so I may as well go Pixel as I know it is good and doesn't have any major issues and doesn't cost the earth.

Bit of a noob question, but I recently got a Moto G5 and added an sd card to increase the storage. The sd card is now internal storage (when i look at settings - Storage I can see Android OS, Internal shared and sandisk sd), however if i want to download music/video from google music/netflix, then it only downloads to the phones original storage, not the SD card. I've seen pictures where people get two options for where the downloads go, but i only see the internal storage, which doesn't include all the of space on the SD card.

Why would this be happening?
