How long did it take to arrive from the time you placed the order?

For me 9 days, BUT I ordered the morning it was released.

I see. I ordered mine last night and they're telling me 29th December. :(

Have you tried going in to an O2 store? It may be worth dropping in to see if you can just buy a 3T sans contract. The O2 near my work have about 10 in stock.

Urgh explaining my new phone at work this morning was fun. "whos it by"

"one plus"

"Aye but who makes it"

Followed by could you not just get a phone on contract, he then tells me his contract is £40 pm, lol mine is over half that.

What I don't understand is how people are oblivious to an amount like that going out each month and yet would be horrified to spend more than £300 on a product.

So is the OnePlus 3T the android to get right now then? How does it stack up to say something like an older but top range phone like a galaxy s6/s6 edge?

It may not be the absolute greatest - no waterproofing, no qHD screen. But it is £ for £ the best value. It has the same processor as the Google pixel phone, except the pixel is underclocked and way more expensive. ,

Pretty baller eh. I ended up taking off the pre applied screen protector last night and ordering the glass one though because it's so smeary with the plastic protector.

Also it's grindy AF but I'm really loving sky force reloaded. Beautiful graphics.

I ended up getting a DBrand for my OP3 due to how slippery it is.

Ah I already have the official bamboo back case which looks lovely and gives some grip. It's a sexy bit of kit naked but yeah it would get dropped very quickly.

My other half and parents surprised me with a Pixel XL for Xmas. Gobsmacked was not the word. I'd asked most people for money so I could put it towards one alongside what I'd get for selling my old phone so wasn't expecting one at all.

It's so good though. The interface is buttery smooth and the camera takes amazing shots. I know it's overpriced but it is easily the best android phone I've used, I'm totally in love with it. The assistant is very clever too, nice step up from Google Now.

gf is after a new phone as her iphone keeps turning off (quite old).

Anyway, i think she is after an Android now. What are good handsets that won't cost around £600 - £700.

Anyone know any decent sights to get handsets from? I doubt she cares too much if it's a brand new model, but as long as it's reliable and has a good camera I'm sure she'll be happy.

If the look of the phone is unimportant, there are a lot of decent looking (spec wise) phones from China in the £100-£200 price bracket. The only problem is that there will probably be little support in terms of Android upgrades so if you bought one on 5 or 6, you'd probably be stuck with that version. When my OPO dies I'll probably go down this route as I'll probably be OK staying on the same version of the OS for 1 or 2 years.

You could also consider the OnePlus Two directly from Amazon -> https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Mobile-Phone ... neplus+two

Paying for a Free to Play game might be something gullible iPhone users will do, Android users are too superior to fall for that though.
