I've seen pictures where people get two options for where the downloads go, but i only see the internal storage, which doesn't include all the of space on the SD card.

Why would this be happening?

Quick search on the internet shows:

Insert the microSD card in your smart smartphone.
Now go to device ‘Settings’ –> ‘Storage and USB.’
Tap on ‘Portable storage’ section.
Click on three-dot menu at the top-right of the screen and click on ‘Settings.’
You will see four options – Eject, Format, Format as Internal and Movie Media. Select ‘Format as internal.’
You will get the warning saying that your microSD card data will be erased completely. Tap on ‘Erase and Format.‘
After finishing the process, your external SD card will now work as your internal storage.
Within few seconds process will be completed. Now your external SD card will work as your internal storage.

That's what I did when I first put the sd card in. But still seems to show only a small amount of space, not the 64gb or so it should be.

Are there any other settings under storage? A previous phone I had with an SD card (probably on Android 4 or so) had an option to choose whether internal or external was the primary storage area.

Problem solved! I had to 'migrate data' from my internal storage to my SD card, so I can now download music/films etc to my SD card.

Got my OP5 yesterday loving it will pass down the OP3 and sell the OP2 to offset some of the cost.

Loving the camera and the phone looks and sounds feels premium, the edges are more curved than the OP3.

I see 02 are selling them (along with the 3T) so have been thinking about whether to get one at some point. I think I'd prefer to buy through 02 because although I've never had to return my OPO, I don't think it would be a very enjoyable experience.

I'm looking at the Xiaomi Mi6 as my next mobile. Anyone have any experience importing a phone? And tips or things I should be wary of?

Read up on the seller, particularly experiences of returns. Better to pay a bit more for a decent customer service.

Cheers, I was looking at using Giztop, they seemed to be reviewed quite well apart from one melter who was arsey that they got stung by customs. :fp:

Is there a way to disable your lock screen changing to album/podcast artwork when listening without downloading anything? There must be a setting somewhere.

I believe if you block notifications for the app under "Sound and Notifications" it will stop it, but I dont think there is a "nicer" way of doing it.

Got the S8+ now, it is really nice, screen feels really long and will take some getting used to but is very good.

Just replaced my LG G4 with a Moto G5 Plus. So far it seems ace. Does everything I need, camera is good, newer version of Android, very little bloatware. And my contract is less than £20/month with free phone :)

Just read up on this and it seems like a great phone! Where did you order if from in the end and how much was it? I assume this has the global ROM? Is this an official ROM or something resellers just bung on it because I know the phone in China doesn't allow access to the play store.

There's an over the air update available for it now, so access to the Play store is (apparently) pretty easy to sort out. I got mine from GeekBuying, they seemed pretty decent and had the blue one in stock, which is what I was after. I ended up with the 128GB version (it wasn't much more expensive than the 64GB) for a hair over £400.

Any warranty? If I get one, I will be aiming to spend around £300 for the 64GB version.

Just a year, but *touch wood* I've never had a phone fail on me. I've never smashed or scratched a screen either, and I don't use cases or screen protector. Must be just lucky I guess. :slol:

It's a bit more than I wanted to spend really, but the extra storage will be handy, and hardly anyone seemed to have the blue in stock. Must be because it's the strawberry floating sex.

I think it is rare for a phone to die so not having a warranty probably isn't a massive risk. Be interested to see your comments when you get this as some (or possibly all) that have the "international" ROM (that allows access to the Play Store) are rooted, which will mean no access to banking apps. If you don't use this kind of thing then no problem, but I do so this would be a bit of a showstopper.
