It isnt difference, I still wouldn't have a p10 but the question wasn't what phone should I get it was is the p10 any good.

I've had two Huawei phones and they have been spot on P8 and the honor 5c.
The only part that was slow with them was updates although they may have got better at it.

What are the best Android tablets on the market at the moment?
My dad's old Sony Xperia Z tablet is starting to die and so we're thinking of getting him a new one for christmas. He's a Sony fan boy but Sony haven't released a new tablet in years, which is a shame because their Xperia tablets were always pretty good.
There seem to have been very few higher end Android tablets released this year though.

Currently I was looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, seems to be one of the newest and highest end tablets around.

I have the S2 and it's great, nothing really seems to be happening in the tablet world.

strawberry float gooseberry fool twat arse wank...I dropped my S7 edge this morning and cracked the screen. It's a hairline, running the width of the thing about two thirds up.

Anyone know how much a replacement would set me back? The split itself is barely visible, looks more like a scratch almost, but I'm painfully aware that the phone is no longer waterproof and I'm scared the crack will spread.

I did there same with my S7. The Samsung store quoted me around 200 to fix it due to the screen being curved. I mananged to sell it online for 100 via one of those mobile phone buying websites.

It put me off Samsung so now I'm using a pixel. Also got insurance via my bank account for 12 a month just in case.

Ta. I love my S7 so will probably fork out the money at some point, but it's fine for the moment

If it starts overheating substantially post drop get it fixed sooner rather than later as the battery may have been damaged. And before someone tells me battery damage isn't an issue after a drop I can assure you it is.

See if you home insurance covers it.

A woman I work with had the same issue, but it meant that Samsung replaced the whole handset for free, rather than her having to pay to fix the screen.

If there is an underlying manufacturing fault they take it on a case by case basis, sometimes it's a repair however if there are problems they might offer a replacement.

Razer are apparently releasing an android phone. So you to can own something that performs amazingly for the first 3 days you own it. It's the standard boring keynote launch. 4000mah battery, launching with nougat with Nova launcher and Oreo will be out Q1 2018 and a 1440p screen.

It looks like an updated experia.

The Razer Phone seems thoroughly alright but there's nothing very exciting about it beyond charging the battery from 0 to 85% which falls firmly in the nice category but it's not a headline grabbing feature. There's no real gaming hook worth talking about it either which seems a bit odd.

Dunno, everything on paper looks very good, to the point where it’s near enough the kind of phone I hoped the OnePlus 5 would have been or what the 5T might be.

I need a new phone as my S4 Mini is giving up the ghost - it's cut out twice in two days and I've never been sure if it's going to come back on again!

My budget is around £150, and I'm considering the Moto G5 or the Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus. I use my phone for telephony, web browsing/email, Spotify, podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, and casual gaming. Any opinions/better suggestions?

Been accepted on the udacity android developer challenge. Got a 3 month assignment and if im in the top 1000 of 10000 I get a funded place on a android developer nano degree.

Probably uterly pointless but is access too some sweet courses to learn something new

I understand some of these words. Congratulations dude! Kick some arse and get into the top 10%!

Anyone here used Mobilism before? Seems like a haven of cracked apps.

Anyone use a Google Home? The Home Mini has a chunk off at the moment and while I try to keep mobile screen time to a minimum due to how my brain works, I find voice commands and reminders much more stimulating than pop-ups, checking lists etc. I think it might help as assistive technology to remember to do things, without having to tap tap tap on a device, keep that device charged, and easily get sucked into useless information (social media etc), which has the opposite effect of what I need.

I've also been really impressed how effective Google's voice analysis is at recognising my drawl - perhaps not 100% accurate for things like texts, but certainly making basic requests and queries like, remind to do x, which doesn't need to be super accurate or have any nuance.

Basically, it's a cheap personal assistant. I'd be interested to here some basic impressions, thanks!
