The sd card is now internal storage (when i look at settings - Storage I can see Android OS, Internal shared and sandisk sd), however if i want to download music/video from google music/netflix, then it only downloads to the phones original storage, not the SD card. I've seen pictures where people get two options for where the downloads go, but i only see the internal storage, which doesn't include all the of space on the SD card.
Why would this be happening?
Quick search on the internet shows:
Insert the microSD card in your smart smartphone.
Now go to device ‘Settings’ –> ‘Storage and USB.’
Tap on ‘Portable storage’ section.
Click on three-dot menu at the top-right of the screen and click on ‘Settings.’
You will see four options – Eject, Format, Format as Internal and Movie Media. Select ‘Format as internal.’
You will get the warning saying that your microSD card data will be erased completely. Tap on ‘Erase and Format.‘
After finishing the process, your external SD card will now work as your internal storage.
Within few seconds process will be completed. Now your external SD card will work as your internal storage.
