Jealous of you all I got the OP3 which I love!

My local O2 doesn't stock accessories which is a pain though.

Can't wait to see what phone they release next, there only misstep IMO was the invite system which they eventually scrapped :)

For those in the OP3 family who are on Nougat there is a new update, 4.0.2 and it's highly recommended you update as there is a vulnerability in the last one.

For those that want nugget but don't want to wait for the OTA

Just go on to the play store and look up opera, scroll through till you get to opera free vpn and install. Select get started, then skip, got it and finally select ok. Choose connect, after a while it will allow you to select region so choose Germany. pop in to settings and search update and download. It's about 1 gig.

I have turned so much off and removed a lot of stuff from the notification tray, so clean. oh and LED notifications are off on everything except charging. One thing annoying me is the double swipe to get to quick settings.

Loving my 3T so far, best thing about it is how light the OS modifications are, its pretty close to stock android which is exactly what I wanted. Very solid phone, good build quality, camera seems fine. Very happy with it. :D

I now get 4g pretty much everywhere in town. 4g+ in some places. This is pretty great for Spotify.

Same here, I use Google music and now don't have it all downloaded as it's fine to stream and loads ahead for bits I don't have signal.

Storage won't be an issue now for next phone :D

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I've unlimited 4G data (£15 a month :datass:), these streaming options are great for me, but most people seem to have quite small data allowances or pay a ridiculous amount for a decent amount of data (which I'd say is 10GB for most people currently). Storage isn't an issue, but the monthly bills for going over the agreed amount become the new limit!

I have a 5gb limit and don't come near with streaming as gmusic caches so if it hits a song it has played before it comes from the cache so uses less data.

I'm going sim only next time and buying the phone so I'll have way way more data next time which will be awesome.

What plan are you on that has unlimited data for that price?

I pay £24 a month for 30GB, so functionally unlimited.

I'm £20 for 8gb on EE. Have never come close to hitting it but that's just because I only use it for audio. Netflix at work would be handy but it would eat up 8gb real quick. Unlimited is the next step right enough. No point having 100mbps if you can't use it.

Only just noticed Virgin are doing 4G now, through the EE network. They're doing 20GB with 5000 minutes for £15 until the end of the month, rolling monthly contract. I'm currently paying more than £18 a month for 5GB of 3G so it'll be nice to finally use 4G after more than two years of owning a compatible phone.

Nice of Virgin to let me know about this though! :x

3 mobile. SIM only deal that I got in Summer 2014. I figured the price would go up each year by inflation but surprisingly no changes. I think it's 200 minutes and 5000 texts...but only a backwards person texts instead of using WhatsApp.

Hi all, I'm by no means certain about it but I'm vaguely considering picking up an Android tablet at some point in the next few months. It occurred to me that I would be interested in also using it as my primary 'phone' -- I text / email far, far more often than I call, but I would need to take the very occasional call too.

Is this viable? Transporting the tablet everywhere I go (yes, in my MANBAG!!!) isn't a problem -- I'm more interested in feasibility. What's the best way to go about it? Are there any big pitfalls?

Google suggests there are tablets out there I could pop a 4G SIM card into so I could be always-connected, is this common or would I be looking at something really niche and expensive?

I really only have experience with Samsung tabs. Samsung have some 4G tabs but I would suggest staying away as the micro usb is super flaky also the battery can be super gooseberry fool as well. Oh and they are strawberry floating expensive.

If the note 7 didn't blow up I'd recommend that. I think you'll have better luck buying a 6 inch phone. The tablet market seems to have dried up, unless you fancy something like the pixel c but it's pretty steep.

I think the best thing about my new phone is that I dont have to keep a charger handy, I now get a full day of use out of the battery. :D

Yeah I'm super impressed with the battery. I remember reading some comments about poor performance by it's great. I have to go some way to lose all my battery in a day. Like yesterday for example I streamed the England cricket match over mobile data for about 7 hours straight and that only ate up about 60%

My OP3 updated to new firmware today. Now all the icons look tiny, and I can't work out how to put it on vibrate.
