Yeah, it's an excellent phone, I've been very happy with mine since I got it.

It is without doubt the best phone I have ever had.

Same here loving it.

I ended up getting a case as I found the phone a little slippy in the hand.

My son has one (I still have the original). You are in for a treat.

Not really, that sort of thing would need a fair bit of access to the system and an app wouldn't be able to get that level of access without being adding in by an OEM or by requiring Root.

Dang, oh well, thanks for letting me know.

Having problems with my new Samsung. I tried to encrypt the device and set up a long alphanumeric password for it but now it insists on using that password even to just unlock the phone, not just power up, which is obviously too tedious to be practical. On my old phone, a Motorola, I had it encrypted but after booting could just use a pin to unlock the screen.

I tried changing the lockscreen type but only password is available and all the other options are greyed out, including pin. I had no choice but to decrypt the whole thing again and leave it as is until I can figure out a solution. Anyone else had this problem?

LG is like that too, the encrypt lock is used for android too. I can use pattern too which is nice. It all depends how the OEM implement the feature I think.

Thinking about picking up an Android mobile during the period where Microsoft get their gooseberry fool together / give up entirely. Unfortunately design seems to not be much of a factor with most handsets these days, I like a device to be unique and not just a black slab.

Looking at the Moto Z at the moment, I like the customization options in terms of adding colour and the battery pack would be really useful. Also (close to) stock Android would obviously be a bonus too. Any thoughts?

When Motorola where owned by Google I would say go for it, now they are owned by Lenovo I would be careful, I just don't trust that company to do a good job with updates.

It is slightly older but the LG G4 is a cracking device and has customisation options with the various leather backs and design wise is a bit different.

Check out the OnePlus site and see if you like any of those. If you aren't bothered about having the most powerful phone available, the One Plus X might be for you (style over power perhaps) and if you want something mighty in the power stakes, maybe the OnePlus 3 (which you can now buy in O2).

My son has the OnePlus 3 and is using the Nokia launcher, you might find this helpful when moving from Windows phone.

Cheers guys. I'm not really fond of the idea of buying outdated models, I know the G4 is a good phone but I would question the length of time it would receive support. I've had my 930 over two years now and it's still going strong.

The OnePlus 3 looks good, the pricepoint is certainly attractive. It's not a beautiful phone but it's certainly a step up from plain black slab. Will put on my maybe list.

I think what I'll do is wait for the Black Friday sales and see if I fancy anything. I'm not desperate for a new phone but the lack of effort by Microsoft in their store is starting to grate. Would be nice to actually have access to some new apps.

I honestly think the OnePlus 3 is a good looking device. The only problem is that it really needs a case on it (which undoubtedly makes it look more ugly) because the material is so smooth and slippery.

I think so as well. I'd probably want to go case free if I had one.

The OPX Is no longer on sale from OP directly as it didn't sell well.
