To get the update? Just in case you do mean that it's quite simple.

Just go on to the play store and look up opera, scroll through till you get to opera free vpn and install. Select get started, then skip, got it and finally select ok. Choose connect, after a while it will allow you to select region so choose Germany. pop in to settings and search update and download. It's about 1 gig.

I have turned so much off and removed a lot of stuff from the notification tray, so clean. oh and LED notifications are off on everything except charging. One thing annoying me is the double swipe to get to quick settings.

Does anyone have any good app recommendations? Not necessarily things that are on the Play store.

My S7 edge fell about a foot and a half today and shattered the screen. Has anyone had one replaced? A quick Google search suggests it could cost between £250- £350 :dread:

That's not true is it?

I wouldn't be surprised, more and more is stuck together that you end up replacing screen, digitiser, main board with the screen. Plus Samsung.

Can you take the back off?

I've noticed phones where you can replace the battery, the back just flies off, but phones where you can't almost always shatter.

If it is just the front screen it will be at max £200 however if there is more damage internally it may cost more. The £350 mark would be insane, you would be better off going via your insurance if they had the cheek to tell you that.

Don't bother calling the tech desk, they won't have a clue on prices and phoning the service centres is nigh on impossible. Check out the Samsung website for a location of your local service centre, oh and if you got the phone from CPW it's worth taking it to them as they may be able to sort a repair quite easily based on most Samsung walking repair centres are "powered buy CPW"

Is there anyway to tell if there is more internal damage? Everything works ok but there is s pretty deep hole where it hit. I've emailed my insurance company but I'm not holding out much hope.

Must be built of paper mache, definitely won't be buying another Samsung phone.

You are going to love it. I immediately noticed a massive performance improvement over my LG G4.

Took a while but managed to return my Pebble through Flubit for a full refund (less the £7 odd it cost to return it recorded delivery). Before I had a smart watch I never thought I'd make use of one but going a few days without really made me miss the vibrate when I had a call, text or e-mail and being able to look at the watch to see my texts and e-mails. So even though Pebble exists no more, I ordered a replacement Pebble Time Steel from Amazon (first checking that the seller will honour the warranty themselves, which they will). Quids in as got a refund of £163 and only spent £129 on a new one. All charged up and hopefully get at least a year out of it.

Yes?
