That was Schumacher Barcelona 96 stuff from Verstappen there, you'll be seeing clips of that for years to come.

So 3rd or higher from Rosberg in Abu Dhabi wins him the title?

Apparently this could be it for Manor now that Sauber have taken 10th in the constructors.

Rosberg has been really good this year. I do not understand those saying he's not deserving. It's weird though. Rosberg and Hamilton have had winning streaks in turn which have gone: Ros-Ham-Ros-Ham. So strange.

I wouldn't say he hasn't deserved it just its pretty tight and looks like Hamiltons reliability issues have tipped it in Rosbergs favour. Even today he nearly lost it at one point and then got a bit lucky Verstappen went to inters. Could have been even closer going into the final race.

Well if reliability issues for both cars were equal during the season, then Hamilton would be winning. That said, it's been partly Hamilton's own fault too (e.g. Baku)

The reason they are saying he doesn't deserve it is because of all the mechanical problems that Hamilton has had. He's had a lot more problems that he couldn't prevent that for some reason haven't affected rosbergs car. When they've both had no issues Hamilton has pretty much always come out on top. Lewis has caused himself a couple of problems with bad starts which we all down to him. I believe though that Lewis has been the better driver of the two this season.

Interesting race today. :slol:

Verstappen's pretty much the only interesting thing about F1 at the moment. Hoping Rosberg seals the deal next time out.

Rosberg has lucked into 2nd place in the last few races. But that sort of luck is required to be champion.

Verstappen's driving was outstanding yesterday, absolutely fantastic to watch.

I really, really hope RB can start to challenge Mercedes in a more meaningful way next season. Verstappen could really be a title threat in a truly competitive car. Plus, imagine him and Hamilton actually going wheel to wheel at the business end of a race.

Just realised that ^^^ was my first entry in my now-annual 'next season might be great...' series of musings.

Your naivety has become somewhat endearing

With the rule changes, next season could be really interesting though! I don't think I said that last season!
