Hmm, anyone having trouble logging into iCloud services? If I leave everything as it is, Mail/iCal, it carries on working. But when I try to log into it gives me the password error thing. And iforgot.apple.com doesn't load either.

Was not expecting to see Match available in Ireland so soon. Not sure if I'll bother with it but its good to be given the option.

I'm thinking of giving it a try this year.
I have a big library of CDs but I don't have the time to convert. The service is meant to work with pirate mp3s, have you got any that's it worked with? Can you choose which mp3s (its matched) to download to your computer?

So far it's matched most of my stuff. Works pretty well with pirated music. Some of the non recognised songs I'll try loading again tonight. I just let it get on with it earlier. I think the initially set up may require a little organisation. Pretty cool on the iPhone though.

a version of MAME just hit the appstore for free - universal app. Apparently using 3rd party explorer type applications, you can add your own roms too:

http://toucharcade.com/link/http://phob ... 39079&mt=8

Link above will take you to it on app store - it's likely to get pulled quick once apple realise you can add roms so grab it quick if you want it.

Discussion here for more info on addings roms etc.. not tried it yet myself but snagged the app ready before it gets taken down.

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a 4S in February when my current contract runs out. I want a 12 month contract like the good old days so I'm going for Tesco mobile. Do I plump up the £300odd to get a 4S in the knowledge I can sell it come the end of my contract (hopefully) or pay £100odd for a 4?

How well do iPhone prices tend to hold? Has anyone done something similar?

Downloaded something from Cydia earlier that makes the 5.0.1 JB Un-tethered  Works like a charm. And something that allows you to make in-app purchases for free :shifty: Hopefully works with buying more gold on Infinity Blade 2 :shifty:

They don't hold their value very well anymore unfortunately. I would also recommend waiting a few more months extra for an iPhone5 unless you really want a new phone in February!

Right quick question:

I'm transferring all my itunes to my new pc from my laptop. For all my music/films/apps etc I'm just using home sharing and importing them. How do i go about syncing my iphone with this new pc so that i won't lose everything on it like saves? Do i just transfer the backup from my laptop to my pc and then plug my iphone into the pc and restore from backup?

I usually just copy my entire iTunes folder over after installing iTunes and everything works as normal.

Yes do this. Your iOS device will then think this new computer is the original, even if it's a different machine or has been reformatted etc. It should only sync the recent things then like it would do normally.

My itunes folder is a complete mess though, with my music being in a seperate file music file which is then in another music file when i copied it wrong last time with my itunes file just having like "itunes library" and all that and no actually media.

It doesn't matter as the database files are in that folder which is what you need. They'll be named something like this... iTunes Library & iTunes Library 2011-12-27

That will ensure that your playcounts, playlists etc remain in tact. It will also decieve you iOS devices into think it is still the same computer.

None of your music, videos, apps, etc will be playable though unless they are stored in the same directories as before. You can relink them to the new directory though by trying to play one then locating it's new location, iTunes will also find the rest if they are stored in similar folders as before.

The only other way around that though is to start fresh if they way you've stored your data is a mess.

Seems to be, in Cydia I downloaded 'Corona 5.0.1 Untether' and for the In-App purchase thing I downloaded iAP Cracker from SinfuliPhone's repo.
