iPhone dead! I dropped it in the shower earlier... It was working fine until I went to charge it, and it was having none of it!

Ordered a cheapish iPhone 4 16gb, to keep me sane until the 5 comes out.

I'm such a careless twat!

To my defence, I wasn't this time using it in the shower, I had music on and rested it on something, an alert came through, it rumbled and fell into the shower!

But yup, still a twat, ordered an iPhone 4 16gb for £287.50 (Good or bad price?)

Was it not obvious Noes is now an Android fanboy ever since he bought his beloved HTC Sensation?

Anyway, how easy is it setting up a new iphone? I have my 3GS backed up (afaik) on Itunes, and 3 said they'll cut my sim down to micro sim when my new phone arrives, so I'll have the same number and any contacts on the sim would still be there?

I assume the only stuff that is backed up on itunes is the apps?

Restore from backup and it'll restore all your apps, games, contacts, messages etc. I can't remember exactly, but I think you''ll have to add stuff like music and videos again.

3 will send you out a Micro-Sim free anyway which has the same number if you ask them. You just need to call a number and activate it when you get it.

Not necessarily. Whatever you had on the iPhone at the time of backing up will try to load back up. You can stop it if you like if it's taking too long. But ultimately, the phone should be exactly the same as the previous iPhone, minus passwords.

Does it look like I can wait for them to send me one out? I'm quite impatient if you haven't noticed.
