Corbyn has to be a plant by the tories right? I mean he doesn't seem to care that they're doing all this gooseberry fool at least.

Russia would be more likely than the Tories. He's not a plant though, he's just severely incompetent.

Chuka seems to be the most electable out of the current crop of Labour MPs but has obviously got some skeletons in his closet.

Corbyn won't give up power until 2020 at least, maybe they will have somebody rise up the ranks by then.

It a terrible indictment of the country but I think Chuka isn't white enough to get elected as Prime Minister in the current climate. Maybe in 10 years or so when we've whittled down the old racists a bit.

Like with Obama I don't think that would be much on an issue. The people that wouldn't vote for him because he is mixed raced would be countered by those that would vote for him based on it.

Aren't there rumours that Chuka is bi sexual. I probably vote for him, unless something ridiculous came out about him.

Being a mixed race, bi sexual could really hurt your chances of winning an election IMO.

Corbyn won't give up power until the UK has fully left the EU. It's been his personal goal for his entire career and he's going to do everything he can to help push it through (like invoking a three line whip to make his MPs vote in favour of it), no chance he's going to risk someone pro-Remain usurping his position and risking the hard brexit he truly wants.
The only thing getting Corbyn out of his position whilst the UK is still even partly linked with the EU is either a leadership challenge or death from old age.

I reckon he is vulnerable to a good candidate now because his backing by party members is collapsing. I actually think Angela Eagle would now be in with a shot against him. As crazy as that sounds.

It would be very dangerous to appease bigotry by basing leader selection on the current trends. Now is the time for resistance, not capitulation.

IMO the UK has regressed very rapidly from a moral perspective. Case in point, think of the thousands accepted in the Kinder transport compared with the current quibbling over a few hundred child refugees. The current generation, or at least those in the over fifty bracket, has fallen far from the noble character of the generation who fought and died in WW2. The post-war generation, no offence to my own parents, seem to be typified by a propensity for extreme selfishness; up to and including levelling massive burdens onto those who will succeed them and fair more poorly than they did.

Seeing the new post-millenials crowd, such as my young cousins, come along gives me hope though. They are far more engaged on political and social issues than I remember being as a teenager just over a decade ago.

It didn't help that Angela Eagle didn't know whether she was running for Labour leader or hosting her new daytime chat show.

She was an absolute nightmare. But at the moment I could see her beating Corbyn.

Idiots, same as before.

The problem with UKIP is despite having a lot of support they can't get MPs in the House Of Commons. They are basically an irrelevance until they get numbers in and Labour shouldn't really be compared to them. They are wildly more successful for now.
