My favourite was always The Constant but upon re-watching I noticed another fantastic episode that I'd completely forgotten about. It's in season 2 and ends with Jack saying "KATE DAMMIT, RUN!" Pretty sure it's Kate-centric which is weird seeing as her episodes are mainly gooseberry fool. Other than that you have all the usual best episodes. Pretty much all of Charlie and Locke's are brilliant.

Of course it was, they weren't captured at the end of Season 1 :fp: I need to watch the whole of Lost again to make up for this error

Is Ab Aeterno the amazing one with Richard, or that utter gooseberry fool one with Jacob and TMIB?

The Richard flashback. The Jacob and Monster flashback ep was "Across the Sea".

I don't think I've ever been as disappointed with any TV episode ever as I was with Across the Sea.

Ab Aeterno was immense.

Ah, that's right. Across The Sea. Christ, that was catastrophically bad.

Amazing scene. Easily one of my favourite top 10 lost moments.

EDIT- oh god now i'm watching youtube clips of all the emotional scenes. Commence mass crying session :fp:

I'm currently watching through again on blu ray. After having watched Breaking Bad, it's clear that the script in Lost isn't as utterly awesome as in BB, but there's something about Lost that is just magical . I might stop after season five and pretend season six was never made... except the finalé .

Please.

The Constant isn't even the best episode of season 4.

Started watching this again too. Around a third of the way through season 1.

Going back to it, it does seem as though there were some very early hints towards things that came late in the series. The religious references are all over the place.
