The really sad thing you realise in the season five finale is as that had been the Smoke Monster all along, Locke really did die in a sleazy motel room. After everything that happened he died like that.

Yeah its hard to take that, after how awesome he was. Didn't want to believe he was really gone.

Also re-watching this on Blu Ray. Up to Season 4 Episode 9 " Meet Kevin Johnston". Looking forward to season 5/6 where it all starts to fall into place.

What was wrong with season five?

I'm still really disappointed with the ending. They had created this very clever complex puzzle, or so it seemed, and it should have had an amazing ending to tie up all the loose ends and wrap things up.

Instead it felt like the 6 season limit ended up meaning things were actually rushed in the end as opposed to the first 3 seasons which were quite slow paced.
