The Official PlayStation Magazine Top 100 Games Of All Time

Issue 100 (or should that be #308?) is out now.
Personally I would have bumped out Beyond (a low point), Simpson's Hit and Run, Gran Turismo 4 & Call of Duty Black Ops for Wipeout (any of 'em bar the PS2 version), something a bit different (Vib Ribbon, Parappa The Rapper), Destruction Derby 2/Colin McRae 2 or 4 &, what a catastrophe this is, Broken Sword 1 or 2.
Crash Bandicoot & Spyro The Dragon are interesting ones...I'm not quite sure why people have voted for these 2 ahead of the sequels. Crash Bandicoot was basically like a sports franchise...it was simply more of the same but they just made the same thing better each year. Therefore I would have gone with 3. At least Sony could bring Crash Bandicoot back. Sypro is one of those games that I think was of its time. There was nothing wrong with the PS2 version at all, but I think it proved even back in I think it was 2002 or 3, the character was done.
A rather 1 dimensional Top 20, but at least they're all great games. Crash does stand out though. It was good, but lets not overplay it. That and it also sent me mental back in 1996 with its poxy save system that attempted to make up for the fact not everyone had a memory card. Skyrim was broken...but they did fix it. Eventually.
PSone rather under-represented...but I guess it depends on the age of those who voted. Anyone under the age of 20 will have basically missed that era completely.
