Same, but the Welsh PE teacher I had was the best I ever had. He realised the bottom set of PE really wasn't all that good/fit/want to play massive amounts of athletics or contact sports so he always got us doing something we'd enjoy.

My Australian PE teacher however was a complete sadist. I really enjoyed Hocky but loads of people didn't so they complained so much that he gave us something else to do. It was pouring down with rain and our PE kit was a t-shirt and shorts at this point. It was cross country. We had to run around our schools massive field about 3 times before he'd let us finish when we were all gooseberry fool at running and I got such a bad case of a viral infection after I did that. Wanker. :x

Hockey is great fun to play. Shame most people wouldn't even consider trying it as they see it as a girl's sport.

Yeah, anything but eh. It's a scary sport no doubt. Dat ball and dat stick. I've seen the damage they do.

Football gets on my wick. More often than not you're seen as an oddity if you don't like it. People assume that I've "got a team" and are sometimes genuinely taken aback when I tell them I don't follow anyone, or even the game itself. A few people have become actively hostile when, upon being asked why, I tell them I think it's extremely dull. "What you don't understand..." etc etc.

Annoyingly, the last 2 girls I've been with were full-on footy fans, and both announced this to me assuming I'd be putty in their hands. Both were rather shocked when I told them I didn't like it and I'm convinced this admission was a factor in the second girl eventually going cold on me.

Despite being a big football fan this really annoys me.
If someone I'm meeting for the first time asks me who I support, I'm quite happy to talk about it, but would never start a conversation with it myself. Mainly because if the person says they don't follow football, the conversation is dead.
I've seen some people who are so socially retarded that after getting that answer, they just don't bother to talk to the person again because they don't like football :fp:

Simply watching F1 without any knowledge of the sport and support for a driver/team is bound to be a bit dull. I don't like rugby but then I don't really know the rules and don't care for any team.

I don't watch it because it's dull- not because i don't understand it. Weird thing is - i look out for the results and have my favourites. Just the races that are dull. Only qualifying and the beginning are any good.

Fair enough. I think people only have the ability to call a sport boring if they actually understand the whole rule set and intricacies of the sport. That allows you to folie the sport on a deeper level and should bring a deeper layer of interest. In your case, I guess you do just find F1 boring.

Try watching the race this weekend. This season has been awesome. Plus, Kimi is back.

I generally dislike most sports but Cricket and Rugby are the ones I genuinely cannot watch at all.

There are plenty of sports that I don't watch on a regular basis (darts, golf, cricket) but I'm confident I could learn to like each and every one of them if I could put the time in. I can't understand people who don't like sport! I don't know where I'd be without F1, snooker, football, tennis, American football, Rugby... Sport!

Now here is an example of the most over-hyped sport ever. How did the American's get it SO WRONG. I find the game extremely dull and find myself wishing I was watching rugby every time I am unfortunate to be watching it.

The most interesting and intelligent sport I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

Jammy's point is probably valid here.

I've watched about 3 games with friends explaining me the rules...it didn't click.

Well of course it didn't. It's not a simple sport!

Alas for I am a simple man. I quite like the motivational films based around the sport though so, it has some good things about it.

Denster, I prefer the term 'the original.'

Races last aout 90 minutes, the same as a football match.

I have literally no interest in cars whatever; but I love F1.

I just like racing in all forms, I guess. Even stuff like Swimming at the Olympics.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.
