Before we begin - if you're just gunna be ignant and hate then get out.

Anyone else watching? I know Dual is. 8-)

This show is incredible. It's following a group of attractive, rich young people that live in Essex. I have it on good authority that StayDead will be appearing in a later episode. It's filmed only a few days before it's broadcast. Not as good as Jersey Shore and no where near as gif-able but still pretty damn good. These people are just.. I dunno how to describe them. The recent talk of Vajazzling was sparked by this show. A lot of it is evidently scripted and I refuse to believe that Mark is only 23 (try 29).

I'm getting well into it. The worse it gets, the better it really gets. Unfortunately, it's one of those annoying shows where only half of the story is actually broadcast - the rest is on ITV's shitty website.

If you aren't a completely miserable, misanthropic, judgmental dick; and if you're capable of not taking things too seriously, check it out. I know that'll be difficult for some of you.

It's supposed to be, though in reality a lot of the conversations or situations will be partly planned by producers. It's probably more like The Hills than Jersey Shore.

I strawberry floating love Jersey Shore but I caught a few minutes of The Only Way is Essex before deciding that it is dire. Everything was so bad, the filming/editing is just painful to watch and it seemed so scripted and awkward. You can tell it's on ITV2 for a reason.

That's why I like it. It's like a shitty Chinese knock-off you get from the market but it's better for it. Jersey Shore didn't really get into its stride till it was a few episodes in, if I remember..

Plus, the chicks in this > Snookie, J-Woww, Sammie and Angelina. That adds a few points.
