Just did the Left Behind dlc in one sitting (easily done). I never got to try it on PS3 as I'd sold the system before it was released. Lived up to the hype, it's brilliant. So many nice touches and I loved the setup.

This really is the complete package, amazing single player, awesome multiplayer and a dlc chapter that genuinely adds to the story and brings new elements to the game.

This game.

They have romantic evening cause they manage to power up a whole mall and get music and lights and start dancing around like eejits and don't expect any of this commotion to you know, attract the horde of undead cannibals inhabiting the area? It just seemed to break the game worlds established logic. Clickers are attracted to noise so lets make as much noise as possible because....? I could've done with just the Joel segments tbh.
Also the lesbian aspect seemed a bit forced. They had a fantastic, non-stereotypical gay character in Bill, so lets make Ellie gay now too? Although fair play to them for predicting Ellen Page was gay months before she came out

First off, they quite clearly didn't think there were any clickers there. There had been no trace of any of them and they even showed you that they used to visit an old friend down there.

Second, maybe you haven't seen the multitude of interviews they've done on the subject, but the kiss is not meant to be a lesbian kiss. It has no affiliation. It's just Ellie's way of expressing her love for her friend. There are no sexual connotations.

Also they're still in the quarantine zone which I presume is supposed to be clicker free.

I loved all of Left Behind, among my favourite 3/4 hours of the whole game.

You're all forgetting the interview where he revealed that Riley is a boy.

And so is Ellie.

Links to these interviews? Because Druckmann has stated a few times that it is a romantic relationship and Ellie was written as a gay character. Plus I think its fairly obvious they are 'more than just friends' from playing the game. In fact he mentions in an interview people wouldn't try and play this off as a "friendly" kiss if Riley was a boy.

Jesus, it was released on Valentines day for strawberry float sake. Talking out your arse here Fade.

You know what else was released on Valentines day? Lots of things.

A 40 minute interview with the 2 people most responsible for the story in the game? yes, yes I did.

So what're you saying? That there is something between them but the kiss was just a show friendship and nothing more?

No. I'm saying it's ambiguous. It doesn't necessarily mean that Ellie is 100% gay

Annung I'm just repeating what I heard after watching that interview. No need to be a colossal dick because I don't think a character in a video game is 100% gay

If she is, fine by me I don't care

If he's said otherwise in other interviews then how about just linking me to one instead of looking for an argument? Stop getting all aggressive.

They talk about it at the start of the video which you linked to.
It could still turn out that she isn't lesbian but maybe bisexual, but going from what they say it's a given that they have feelings for one another (or maybe Ellie does for Riley).

I didn't think it was purely sexual either. But I did get surprised by it at first. I think it should be left to speculation/interpretation rather than confirmed by the writers.

I don't know why it is a big deal.

Anyway, I don't think Hard is well, hard. If anything I'm playing it better and got past a lot of sections being stealthy easily than I did on my two run through on Normal/NG Plus previously on the PS3.

One question: Is the bloater blind? I would thought it would be as it's the final stage of being infected yet it manages to spore bomb me with 100% accuracy.

Well I hope everybody has checked out the 'Making of...' documentary that's on here, very informative, excellent.
Also, I think that chapter select new game plus thing does actually work. I went to, I dunno, about half way through the game, and it had remembered my exact progress.

Don't forget about the developer cutscene commentaries!

Finished the game and DLC. Loved every second of it. Didn't expect the DLC to play like it did; thought it'd all be be about Ellie's time at the mall, so that was a nice surprise. I still have a few things left to do so will be back on the game at a later date. Last batch of screens until then...

Tess looking something other than fierce/determined
