I hate myself for saying this, but I would actually buy this again, well, dependant of the quality of the port.

Fantastic news! A no-brainer really.

That's awesome. Even on PS3 it looks fantastic. 1080p60 and it'll look stupidly good.

I'll wait for it to drop under £20. The PS3 version was far too recent to justify buying it again just for shinier graphics.
It had also better include all the DLC.

I'll be double dipping this. Don't see any reason why the DLC won't be included too.

I missed the PS3 version, so will pick this up for PS4 (when I get around to buying a PS4

It makes sense that this would be a GOTY edition release and have all the DLC bundled in, I wouldn't hold out for a low price point tho, they will probably hype it as a 'Tomb Raider' style definitive edition

I liked the idea of 'better quality' versions of older games, but it seems a case of be careful what you wish for. With the updated Tomb Raider launching at forty quid it just felt like a bad buy when the still-cool older version was around twelve snoops. An updated LoU sounds ace... but I wouldn't pay more than twenty notes.

Even an updated GTA V falls into this thinking; would I really splash out, say, fourty quid on some shinier graphics?

Perhaps I'll change my mind on LoU when I see the the update.

I think. It's been discussed during Survivor Sunday and there's appetite for it but I'd be wary about paying too much for it given how much time Ive already poured into it on PS3.

Given how long they're taking with the DLC I'll expect this sometime in 2018

I wouldn't touch these "better" versions for £40. Hold on a month or two and they will drop in price to something more reasonable.

I'd also buy GTA V again if updated and will purcahse TombRaider when its half price tomorrow on Xbox one.
