The dog day care place we take Jack to has apparently been using him as an introduction dog to welcome new and nervous dogs, because he's so friendly. Here seen with a new dog while the others are put to one side while they play. I say they, i think hes doing most of the playing

Oh my God watching him skidding around that floor almost brought a tear to my eye.

Jack is properly photogenic as well. I don't know that you could take a bad picture of him, Ad.

He's turned in to a right soppy git. My wife came downstairs last night with a blanket on like a cape as it was quite cold upstairs and he ran off in to the kitchen and started growling to himself :fp: Had to show him the blanket wasn't attacking her by taking it off and showing it to him.

I know :dread:

The crack is because the internal bit broke so I had to take it off to fix, and the woman who owned the house had glossed over the sides rather than take the handles off to paint. :fp:

They will all be replaced eventually.

Loki does that. I went to my mums with a hat on last week and he spent five minutes barking at me from the top of the stairs until I took the hat off and he realised who I was. :fp:

Wearing a hat for 5 minutes indoors?

Probably just berating your appalling manners

I thought someone might pick up on that

I kept the hat on because it was quite funny watching him in utter fear growling and borking at me from the stairs. :slol:

What is dog day care exactly?? I've heard of dog walkers and I get why some people might need to use those, but do some people's dogs really need to go to a day care?

We're pretty lucky with our dog to be fair, she seems more like a cat than anything some of the time - go out for the day and she pretty much just finds a nice spot to go for a nice long snooze! :D

Usually one of us is at home, and usually he's off sleeping and wouldn't give a gooseberry fool anyway, but if we're both out all day we drop him in there. He gets to socialise with other dogs and play all day. Apparently he doesn't stop playing for 8 hours and will often go around trying to wake other dogs up to.play with him. Basically it's like taking him on an 8 hour walk exercise wise.

We do it so he can be aroind other dogs more than anything. It's £15 for the whole day and you'd be looking at £20 for some scrote to take your dog out for a small walk.

Sounds like a pretty solid deal to me, whatever keeps the pooch happy!

We do use a dog walker some times but ours is pretty reliable - they make sure the dogs get a real good walk. I've been at home when the dog has been picked up on some days and then she still isn't back when my wife has got home several hours later.

Oh and to keep the picture stream up, here is our dog Ada:

And here she is doing her favourite thing, sleeping:
