Very happy dog tbh. Not a massive dog person, but the kids have nagged for years and we gave in. Ignore my fat.

Cat people - Do you ever have problems with man cats fighting other neighbourhood man cats? My two have an ongoing spat with the cat that lives over the road (I think that before we got the new pair the neighbour cat laid claim to our garden and still thinks it's his despite fighting with them for the past three years). Had a *big* brawl earlier that ended with quite a bloody laundry counter once I'd got the two idiots in. They're all fixed, so they shouldn't be that aggressive or territorial, should they?

Entirely depends on the cat.

Are they starting the fight or him?

Well, I think that our cats tend to start it when they spot him on "their" patch, but I've never actually seen it all kick off, I just hear the yowling and rush out to tell them both to leave it aaaatttt.

You don't really want your cats fighting at all due to how dangerous it is, but it could be that one of your cats is quite agressive, either that or the neighbours cat is aggresive towards other cats.

Sometimes cats in themselves just have other cats they don't get along with. You may find one day that another cat will come to your garden and the cats will play or sit together outside haha.

I miss my cat (Bob, no he didn't spit.) he was awesome, but unfortunately when moving he was out and we couldn't find him, even when going back to look for months.

Here's a pic of him.

Ours fights all the time, almost every night over the summer. He got quite badly hurt once, had a puncture on his neck. AFAIK there's not much you can do other than lock him in, which is no good.

I can't say this for everyone obviously but the fights always sound a lot worse than they actually are. A lot of screaming and hissing but with next to no actual scrapping. All mouth these cats.

How could you prefer a cat when dogs are so awesome? We've had Loki for six weeks and I actually couldn't imagine him not being there now.

He was upset when I left my mums yesterday and popped up at the window looking all mournful. Broke my damn heart.

Cats are much lower maintenance, both in time and money.

Yes?

Pretty much the main considerations when it comes to gauging awesomeness.

Cora - your dog is hella cute.
