She was the youngest too, so it was kind of unexpected. I am just glad she was happy for pretty much every day of her life even if it was cut short.

My dog is almost 6 months old and I'm already dreading the day that she leaves us.

I don't know why, because I know this is a sad time and a sad subject, but I read that in Ellis' voice and it made me chuckle.

The only thing you can do is not focus on that. Focus on the here and now and enjoy all the time you have with your dog. Give them the life and love you know they deserve!

I've mentioned before, but my cat is 15. I try my very best not to think about how old she is, because if I do I worry about the fact she's technically "old". She's still very young at heart and the thing that keeps me off of the bad thoughts is how much I love her and enjoy every moment I can with her.

I think the oldest cat in my family was about 22 when he died which was older than me. A siamese/Burmese cross. He got stuck somewhere in a big garden feeling poorly and then was eaten alive by flies. :dread:

There's another tiny tortioushell who must be about the same age now, she's awesome. Here she is with a house bunny at Christmas who constantly licked my jeans for some reason.

Yes the bunny is about twice the size of the cat.

We put jack in a really posh and expensive training kennels from friday to monday over the last weekend. Part of the package was he'd get group training and 2 hours a day of 1 on 1 specific training with a dedicated trainer. When we picked him up on monday evening and asked to know what commands etc he'd been taught, we were told the person who did the training had gone home, so we'd have to call back to find out. The mrs just got hold of them and it turns out they 'forgot' to do the training, and 'forgot' to tell us. strawberry floating clowns, cost us close to £200 for that weekend so the splits are giving us out money back,

You have the same sofa as me but in a different colour.

Pets on furniture :dread:

Jack likes to watch TV too, seems to enjoy dramas for some reason, maybe it's all the talking.

When we got her we both agreed we wouldn't have her on the sofa. That went out of the window within a week as we both wanted her up here with us. Can't really go back on that now as she's grown up being allowed on here.

People who stop their cats/dogs getting up on the bed with them is insane. I love sleeping next to my cat. Now it's just us two, she snuggles right up against me for I guess a mix of warmth and comfort and it makes it more comfortable for me as well.

After losing one of cats towards the end of October last year, we waited until after Christmas to get a new one. Say hello to the latest addition to our household.

She's about 9 months old and a bit of a terror. Likes hissing at the other cats in the house (who most just look at her with a mixture of disdain and pity).

Absolute jokers. We go to weekly training classes with Zazu and have done for the last year - I can't even imagine how much of a nightmare she would be if we hadn't done it. Has the added bonus of her always being unconscious for the rest of Sunday when we get home because concentrating so hard completely knackers her.

Ghost and Willow have started going outside now. Willow is much more adventurous though and will leave our garden very comfortably. I think she has already had her first fight though as she has a sore looking area on her cheek with a patch of fur missing. She's happy though, I just really worry when they go out. Who knows what they're up to :dread:

Loki strawberry floated off with my hat and my brother's scarf the other week so we made him wear them. It didn't have the effect we hoped for - he was overjoyed.
