Well strawberry float, now I feel awful.

I logged into facebook and got reminded of a post I made 7 years ago today. It was the day my cat was put to sleep for having FIV and being really ill. I miss him so much, how has it been 7 years :(

These are really old photos, but RIP to my little guy.

Bunni wrote:Anyone with cats got ideas for stopping them sitting on top of the PlayStation? Spaghetti keeps sitting on top of it, while its being used, within a cabinet so it's near impossible to manually remove her without losing an arm and very little deters her from going in or gets her back out. Obv water is a no go because of electricals but she's not interested in rubs, toys or anything other than strawberry floating dreamies which is probably making gooseberry fool worse. (We don't actual give her treats, only lure her out with them then shut her in the hallway or something for a time out)

Trying not to give negative reinforcements, I feel terrible if I get frustrated and bang on the metal to make a scary noise but she just doesn't seem to learn and I'm concerned that she'll end up breaking something, or electrocuting herself since cables seem to be a favourite. Any ideas?

You could try putting something on top of the playstation so she cant get on top of it, or as already suggested stand the playstation vertically.

Also try putting an empty cardboard box in the room, there's a good chance she'll choose to sit in that instead of inside the cabinet.

My daughter got a goldfish for her birthday yesterday, so that's officially our first family pet :toot:

The tank is a little barren (1 fake plant so far), but I intend on getting a sunken ship and maybe a little castle or something in there for it to swim around.

I know I shouldn't but I really, really want a French Bulldog. Or a corgi. Or both.

Maybe you can get a cross of both, then you only need 1 dog but get one of each.

Took Jack for a little swim down the nearby nature reserve the other day. He loves fetching the float thing so much, although he cheats and gets in the water as soon as he thinks you're about to throw it to get it faster. We're currently taking him to obedience classes to help to get him to hold off for things like that. We can throw a toy about 5 foot in front of him and he'll wait, but any more and he just bolts off.

Loki qualified for Crufts today at a show in Blackpool. His brother Kyle finished third.

Our eldest cat has got a problem with water retention which means he's been getting wider and wider as time goes by. Tonight I came home to find him wedged in the cat flap looking like the alien hanging out of John Hurt. If my wife had have been at home, I'd be getting a divorce because I just couldn't stop laughing. Poor bastard.

Cat update - took him to the vets today to get his fluids drained. I'm £200 lighter and he's 1.25l lighter

He's really well behaved now so we rarely properly tell him off, so if he does something naughty he almost anticipates a bollocking and goes mental
