We send Zazu to daycare 3 or 4 times a week. Absolutely great stuff, they pick her up and drop her off, and she's always completely wrecked in the evening. It does however cost £35 a pop :dread:

When you say "Daycare" do you mean "locker at the station"

That's what puts me off having a dog. Both of us work all day. Doesn't seem right to leave them alone :(

When I say daycare I mean a nursery.

It costs us £47 a day. Some places charge more but I think the most expensive we looked at was £55.

He’s in there from around 9 to 5.30 so you are right, it’s between £5-£10 an hour. ;)

The one we use does home boarding too. It's £25 a night and that includes the full day at the day care too (the owner does it). So they take him in, he has a full day playing there and then gets taken to the house with a few other dogs. We tried him there for 3 nights so that and 4 days of day care and I think it came to £75 all in. He was absolutely strawberry floated for the week after

If you did that you'd never hear the end of it. As an alternative I suggest locking yourself in and waiting for the sweet peace and quiet of death.

Jinx had to go to the movers yesterday and have a tooth removed. Now Rupert our other cat just hisses at him making him sad they were awesome buddies, he keeps going over to play and just gets hissed at and growled at.

The Movers?

He probably just smells funny like the (I assume) Vets. They'll be friends again soon.

Normally they are fine after a trip as the wife works at the vets so they should know the smell.
