Wasn't a fan of the first Velocity 2X but the sequel is looking alot better. The rest though...

Oh wow. Absolutely nothing I want there. Probably the worst month for me since joining.

I do spot a few things I want from their newest sale though. Lots of Vita stuff I've had my eye on.

Best month in ages! Velocity 2x should not be ignored by anyone.

Playstation All Stars is cross buy so Vita owners also get that. I know it's meant to be a bit rubbish, but I think I will have some fun with it.

I don't like that TxK. Not really bothered by the plus stuff this month.

Cracker month for Vita folk. Velocity 2X, TxK, Joe Danger and Playstation All Stars is a very good lineup. Can see why PS4-only and PS3-only folk are a bit upset, though.

Yup. Local MP party game. Scored pretty well, I think.

Velocity going straight into PS Plus is a bit disappointing. I wanted to buy it.

Don't redeem it, wait a month for it to get cycled out and then you should be able to buy it? You reckon you'll cancel PS+ any time soon?

If it carries on like this I know I won't be renewing come December. And it'll take more than quality PS3 titles for me to change my mind as I'll be passing that on in a few hours time.

They have set the bar pretty high for this in 2013, but the last 6 months hasn't been great for PS3. It's been alright for PS4, with plenty of fillers. I think it's about time we had Knack or the full releases start coming!

If Velocity 2X is anywhere near as good as the original then no one should be complaining.

It's Sportsfriends, which is a collection of really excellent local multiplayer games from different indie devs, one of which uses the Move controllers.

This is an absolutely fantastic month. I was planning to buy Velocity 2X and Sportsfriends on release, and while I already have TxK it's still a great game.

I've definitely decided not to renew my subscription until I feel that I want it for online play on the PS4. I'm surprised that Sony didn't use the first year of the PS4's launch to bring more exclusive titles to the PS3 part of PS Plus. I'd have been very happy with games like the first two Uncharted games, the God of War games, Metal Gear 4 and Tales of Graces f.

Most of the titles I've played from PS Plus came from the three months I got free from NowTV last summer so it's really put me off subscribing just for the full games that are given every month. I'd have been much happier buying the games I played during the various sales that happen instead of using £40 of credit to rent them for a year.

I'd still say it's worth it, even though the quality has dropped in recent months.

Subs can be had for £30-35 a year, say £2.50/3 a month, for which you a handful of games on all formats and, if you've been subscribed for a couple of years, a decent back catalogue too.

The average quality of the releases has slipped, but the last twelve months have comfortably provided enough games to convince me to renew again (Resogun, Velocity, Fez, Guacamelee and Sly 4 to name a few). If you have a proper gaming PC or only own a PS3 and have no intention of upgrading to a PS4 down the line, then it's probably worth considering letting it lapse, but I'd still renew now.

I'd like to see the PS3 getting two AAA titles a month again, as the last few months have had a really poor selection. It's a shame, as I have no intention of unplugging it for a couple of good while yet. Persona 5 next year could be a great swansong and the console is still a lot better than the PS4 as a media player. That being said, the games are drying up on it and a lot of recent releases (unsurprisingly) really struggle on the hardware, so I don't really mind the increased focus on the Vita and PS4.

PS+ works particularly well for the Vita: buy the odd retail title to complement those that you get in addition to a steady stream of good indie titles, which suit the handheld really well. More and more games have cross-buy as well, so the vita regularly gets three or four new titles a month.

A lot of the PS4 titles have been poor or forgettable, but there have been a few gems too.

Edit- As DD suggested, I'd love to see a collection of PS3 classics on the service: one new AAA title and an older one would be brilliant.

I can see where the PS4-only owners can be a bit upset with the selection, but frankly the overwhelming majority of the games offered on PS+ is far better than Knack. Besides, if you haven't been "buying" everything via the webstore every month, you're doing it wrong.
