This week, we're getting Hotline Miami on the PS4. Personally, can't wait for that.

Oh, will give that a go - already tried it on the Vita and seemed like a pretty tough game. I want full priced releases - even Knack would do me! Come on Sony!

No, still the summer sale running. It's annoying -part of me would be tempted by BF4 at £30, but knowing Boners are getting it and FIFA for £20 a year is putting me off. :fp:

Haven't heard about the next Plus games yet - I think it's normally closer to the end of the month that they get leaked. They should absolutely go for Tomb Raider on PS4. It would be a good move after the XBox 'exclusive' announcement.

Would be amazing, but highly unlikely.

Not much on the Summer Sale I would like to purchase at the moment, and have already many games on the hard drive, due to previous sales and PS Plus, like Ni No Kuni and Okami - I really should get round to actually playing and completing them, rather than merely collecting these wonderful games!

Good thing about it is that it's cross buy. Even if you picked it up via PS Plus, you'll be able to get the PS4 version for free... forever. 8-)

Great, another version I can be absolutely terrible at.

The summer sale has been terrible: a lot of the PS3 and Vita content was cheaper during the Christmas 2013 sale, a good chunk of the PS4 titles have been free on PS+ and the discounts overall have been very poor.

The next batch of PS+ content should be announced next Wednesday. Not expecting much though, and there won't be a retail PS4 title. Hopefully they start with one a month from the Driveclub release but it's almost certainly too soon for that. PS+ has really gone downhill in the last few months, and I'm particularly disappointed by the indie PS3 titles. I understand that full AAA PS4 titles can't be given away, and there aren't that many to choose from for Vita, but the PS3 still should be getting two a month. If Sony were churning out a couple of games like Saints Row IV, Rayman Legends, Ratchet Nexus, Sly/Ratchet/Hitman/Tomb Raider trilogy, GRID Autosport, The Walking Dead S1, Batman: Arkham Origins, Final Fantasy X, South Park, Assassin's Creed IV, Ni No Kuni, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD, Tales of Symphonia/Xillia, etc. every month, most of which have upcoming sequels or films to help promote, then I think most of the complaints about the service would disappear.

The quality of a lot of the recent indie output has been poor too: the likes of The Last Tinker, Counterspy and the Velocity game would be far better than terrible run of recent releases such as the Proteus, Doki Doki and Towerfall. Games like Surge Deluxe, Metrico, Vessel and the constant stream of low quality Lego games aren't great either. There have been great releases like Fez and Guacamelee, but the average quality does seem to be falling.

Did Tearaway Unfolded get a release date? I'd guess Tearaway Vita will be given away a few months before, which would be excellent.

If the quality of PS+ titles does not improve between now and December, which is when my sub ends, I am not at all certain I will bother renewing. Decent PS3 titles won't cut it either as I'll be passing that down once I am done with TWD Season 2.

Is this the shitty retro looking game where you fire arrows? I'm getting really pissed off with the obsession of releasing games on the PS4 that look like they belong on the Game Boy Colour. I did not buy a PS4 for games that look like they were typed in from an issue of C&VG. I appreciate that there is not much stuff Sony can bundle onto PSN for the PS4, but there is no point putting crap on just to make up the numbers.

You played it in multiplayer before crapping all over it right?

No, only have 1 controller. Do the graphics become all next gen like when you connect a 2nd controller?

So unless it has cutting edge triple A blockbuster visuals don't bother releasing it on the system at all? Ludicrous.

The point is, the game could be handled on a PS1 and I didn't buy a PS4 to play PS1 games. Clearly I am in a minority.

Nope. I agree. Far too many PS4 indie games which belong in 1998

How is more choice and variety a bad thing though? The indie games aren't taking away from the bigger titles, at the very least they help keep the system relevant in between the milestone releases.

And I really don't understand the visuals argument. "Hotline Miami 2? Looks like it was made ten years ago, must be gooseberry fool, let's not try get it out to as wide an audience as possible by putting it out on as many platforms as possible so strawberry float it, cancel the Playstation versions."
