Just don't get Proteus at all, looks (and plays) like a demo for a level editor with awful blocky visuals :?
Metrico is vaguely playable and slightly compulsive, but hardly great by any means.
Lego - I'm fed up with it two months on the run, not bothering with it.

So let's hope next month's Vita lineup is a little more engaging :)

I'm not really digging it to be honest. It does have the knack of being a little compulsive to see what's next. I kind of feel like I have to keep playing it, but am not really enjoying doing so.

Metrico and Proteus are both dull as dish water. I quite liked the look of them both when I first heard of them too.

Fez isn't much better.

Cannot stand him but loved Fez once I eventually bought it.

Perhaps it isn't the games that are the problem...

Metrico reminds me of that puzzle platformer with basic shapes that have names... there's also a narrator. Whatever it is it reminds me of that but I like this one more. What little I have played of it anyway (Done the first stage).

Wow. No wonder you're so well liked around here Hugo. Have you played either Metrico or Proteus, or are you just basing your opinion on Eurogamer reviews?

Maybe I need to give Fez more time. I bought it on PC and it was a buggy mess that still needs to be played in window mode to stop the game breaking. On Vita I got to a part where I had to stack boxes to form tetris-like shapes. I don't know if I was missing something in the controls, but it made such a simple task into a exercise in frustration.

Yosh, I know what you mean. I was expecting to like Fez - I played the demo on Vita ages ago, but bought Steamworld instead.

Seemed ok and I always knew I'd get it eventually. But playing it on PS4 last night, I just... I dunno. Didn't capture me at all. Maybe my head doesn't work in the right way to visualise what I need to do, but I found it just a bit frustrating.

Might try it again on Vita (cross save is an amazing idea, it has to be said) in case it suits that console more. But that sale has got me edging towards TR:DE for £25, so I'll probably just get that played while I'm waiting for Destiny.

I've played (admittedly) not very much of Proteus, it didn't really click with me.

Metrico sounds interesting so I downloaded it yesterday but haven't played it yet.

Its more that you dismissed 3 games as being dull as dishwater (or slightly better) that generally seem to be considered at least ok games. So maybe it isn't the games that are the problem, maybe they just aren't for you.

Stick with it, I found it frustrating at first but it'll click eventually. It's definitely well suited to the Vita.

Cool, I'll switch back to the handheld then. I did wonder if playing it on a big telly was hampering my ability to assess the different perspectives properly.

Anybody played a Road Not Taken? I thought it was shite and I was trying to love it. No aspect of the game behaved in a way I was expecting or found comfortable (example: when you pick an object up, you can't rotate to 'fire' it in a different direction.) Deleted instantly. :|

If you could rotate then that would take a puzzle element out of the puzzle-like game. Saying that I won't be bothering with it either as it's just not my kind of game. :P

 Yeah, I have possibly missed the point massively. Ah well, it really wasn't much fun.

I predict Strike Suit Zero on Plus next month, so I'm holding off buying it. Reduced to £7, and it's now free on Live Gold as well, I think.

Then PS4 Tomb Raider the month after that.

And Proteus reminds me of what people who have done zero research on NMS think NMS is. Not meaning to say it's a bad game.
