What's that rubbish looking game on Plus for PS4? Not Fez, the other one that looks like a TBS or something. Worth downloading?

It's a roguelike grid puzzle game.

Mafro, these were my thoughts...

I'd steer clear.

Not been impressed with the PS4 + offerings so far really. I know there isn't that big a library of stuff to be offering from yet but still doesn't soothe my disappointment :|

Regarding Road not Taken. It's not a badly put together game; everything works as they intended it to, it's not a glitchy game. So if you are into roguelikes and or puzzlers then it may be the game for you.

On the one hand I knew we wouldn't be getting big/medium sized games every month so soon after the console's release, but I didn't expect it to be this lacklustre.

Yeah, this. I was realistic and pragmatic about what we'd been getting, but even then it's still been disappointing.

I think it possibly all still comes back to the DriveClub can of worms. If that had hit Plus on time, Sony would have been able to point to that as an example of value. As it is, only Resogun and Outlast appeared to have really been a success. I've enjoyed Don't Starve recently, Strider to a lesser extent, but the others I can very much take or leave.

Ah well, we'll soon be a year into the console's life, and even though Knack will blatantly be one of the first 'proper' games to come out, I think it'll open the floodgates and soon enough we'll be getting the likes of Thief, Tomb Raider, Killzone, maybe the occasional year-old EA title, (NBA 2014, etc)...

Would expect knack fairly soon, which i would not mind. Problem is having to service 3 consoles at once. Would prefer sony ditch the ps vita games for ps3/ ps4 ones.

The value also includes online gaming for ps4 owners, so it really isn't a bad deal if you look at it that way. Ps3 owners have had it better and i hope sony improve the lineup - even some early games would be nice like heavenly sword or even the original motorstorm.

In what world would that make absolutely any sense?

Also I don't think Heavenly Sword or Motorstorm ever had a PSN release, so the only way you're likely to see them in a digital format is through Playstation Now. And the Motorstorm servers are offline.

There are some terrific new offers for PS3 and PS Vita owners in the sale - click here for full details.

In particular, it's worth looking at Bioshock £4, Bioshock Infinite £6, Borderlands GOTY £6, Metal Gear: Ground Zeroes £10, Monkey Island bundle £6, Sly Trilogy £13 and Tomb Raider £8. Some of these prices become even lower for PS Plus members.

We wouldn't hear anything about next month's PS Plus until the final week of August.

This week, we're getting Hotline Miami on the PS4. Personally, can't wait for that.
