Fairly annoying as I've just started the Batman game today. I think PSN+ needs to start doing something for subscribers who already have the games they are giving away, either some sort of credit or they should have a pool of other items to choose from.

A choice between a few games is an excellent idea. Would love that.

I can see the posts now. "I want game X *and* game Y, how do I choose which one not to have?" :)

Yeah, and if you get a game at launch, Sony should mail you a tenner whenever it's reduced in a sale.

They owe you nothing if you've bought one of PS Plus's free games. Why do they need to reimburse you?

I can move my Batman story to PS4 now, cool. It runs like an absolute dog on Xbox.

Because I'm paying the same price as others but getting less value in return. Maybe you are ok with that but I'm not.

You aren't getting less value than others though, are you? You're getting the same amount of free games as everyone else.

The difference is that you've decided to buy certain games in the meantime. The difference in value is not what Sony is offering (it needs to compensate you for the games you've bought yourself) but that you've bought other stuff.

Every time you buy a game, you run the risk of it appearing in Plus. That's the way it goes. I don't personally feel aggrieved when one crops up on Plus, not do I feel like I deserve something in return.

This is before we get into the reality of Sony compensating every single owner who already owns one of the Plus titles, every single month. It would likely not be a worthwhile endeavour on their part, and would arguably not be worth their while even offering free games each month, if they had to offer discounts or added extras as well.

Strikes of selfishness to me. There's an offer of set free games each month, but because this time it doesn't benefit you completely, you're demanding something else in return.

Happy with the January Plus line up.
Both are games that I had my finger over the buy button for..

Deus ex in particular. Loved Human Revolution.

It isn't just once, quite a few of their offerings I've already purchased. How is it selfish to want something in return for my money? They have recently jacked the price up by 20% so I expect a good return for my payment. We aren't going to agree on this so no point discussing further. When my current paid up subscription ends, I just won't be renewing, I'm sure Sony will be happy with this outcome.

The solution is to never ever buy games. 8-)

I am at the point where I am frightened to buy anything for fear it will be free on PSN+ the following month!

I’ve decided never to buy any telltale games simply because they’re *always* freebies on gold/PS+

That's my policy too. Although it was annoying that they gave us the second series of Game of Thrones rather than the first!

Have I got my facts horribly wrong? Oops. Fairly sure there was one PS+ giveaway where you got the second series...

Got Hidden Agenda free with a PS4 slim in the sales, played a few hours of it today. It’s decent, but now it’s refusing to let me and my girlfriend continue with the game that we’ve been playing - Apparently one or more of our profiles is “ineligible” with the save game we’ve got. strawberry floating hell, they’re good at making what should be a simple thing totally unusuably stupid :fp: Don’t understand why people can’t just drop in/drop out as the story progresses if it’s meant to be a fun playlink party game. So now we’ve got to start all over again because even though we’ve both been playing together from the start, the game doesn’t think we have. Why? Is it the app that’s shite? It’s certainly not a well put together one for the iPhone (like, you scroll up and down the menu and it flickers :dread: ).

The second-screen character biogs and info galleries are nice to have, but there’s absolutely no benefit to the gameplay using a phone as a controller. It just makes the QTEs more irritating.

Playlink still has yet to really impress me. Keep it up, Sony.
