It may or may not be a bargain depending on whatever your personal view is...it is however undeniably a reduction in price, it was more, now it is less.
Sound, I worded that wrong by saying 'bargain' but my point was remembering what I paid for it on release date, which is what? A whole £1 more than what its been reduced to now over 2 months after release?
Also Googling shows the cheapest for a new physical copy is £39.85 off Shopto. Shocking.
The thing is that Digital and Physical releases of a game are not the same thing.
You can argue about the morality or fairness of it, but the fact is that the Digital release of a game stays at what amounts to an RRP which normally ends up being a good £20 more than the price you can buy the Physical version of the same game for if you shop around, until a sale comes along and reduces that price.
There are no doubt reasons for this, that aren't just going to go away. The fact that the Digital version of this game is (for the moment at least) about the same as the Physical version is worth noting. Again you might argue that its not a bargain, but if someone (for whatever reason) likes to have digital copies of games, then this is a good deal.
