Copy and pasted from Jiggles' excellent OP.

The PlayStation Store Thread

jiggles' Ultimate Guide to PlayStation Plus

Cost
- Plus is £39.99 per year. You might find it cheaper if you shop around for a card.

Online Play
- Plus is required to play online on PS4.
- Online play on PS3 and Vita will remain free.
- Free-to-Play (F2P) games and subscription-based games (like MMOs) won't require Plus on PS4.

Discounts
- Anything you bought at a discount on Plus is yours to keep, regardless of whether you keep your subscription going or not.

Instant Game Collection
- You get 10 free PS3 games and 4 free Vita games to start.
- You "purchase" these as normal for no cost from the PS Store. This adds them to your account FOREVER. However, you can only play them if you have an active PS+ subscription.
- The free games rotate every so often. Usually, two PS3 games will be removed from the 10 available to purchase each month and replaced by two more.
- Games being removed from the Instant Game Collection offering DOES NOT remove them from your account.
- You can add the Vita titles to your account from PS3 if you don't yet own a Vita.

Renewal
- Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Services List on XMB to manage your auto-renewal settings.
- If you don't renew your subscription, you won't be able to start up any game you got for free until you renew again.
- Not renewing your subscription does NOT remove free games from your account.

Misc
- Plus also lets you set your PS3 to automatically download patches, firmware updates, and automatically sync your trophies.
- You can activate your plus account on up to 2 PS3s and up to 2 handhelds (PSP or Vita) at once.
- A single Plus subscription covers all platforms (PS3, PS4 and Vita)
- Plus subscriptions stack, so if you're worried it may get more expensive in future, you can stock up on years now.
- http://blog.eu.playstation.com/tag/playstation-plus/ for latest PS+ content announcements.

Cheers, Poser.

Also remember that you get the PS Vita version of All Stars added to the download list as well. Cross Buy.

Nintendo should learn from this.

Didn't realise The Golf Club was hitting Europe this week. Quite tempted to grab it.

I take it Don't Starve for the Vita isn't cross-buy, I can't see it in my list. :(

Sometimes you have to add the latest version to your basket and it'll show up in your download list, but Don't Starve is NOT cross buy. :x :(

Like I said in the PS Vita thread, it's a shame as I would probably play it more as it's suitable for portable gaming. And £11.49 price tag is ridiculous, to be honest.

EDIT: Well there may be something going on here. The PS4 version (standard one, the one I "bought" from PS Plus) is not showing as Purchased now.

EDIT: The Vita version is now free, even if you just got the PS4 "Console Edition" version off from PS Plus.

Good news. I think there is more chance of me playing this on the Vita.

What a month for the Vita.

Joe Danger
Velocity 2X
Don't Starve Giant Edition
TkX
Playstation All Stars [does this have a decent single player mode?]

All for free

It's a huge shame the console isn't selling better; a Vita and 64gb card is an incredible combo.

Danganronpa has a further 10% off too, so is £17.99 for PS+ subscribers. Hopefully my physical copy of the sequel turns up tomorrow.

Edit- And, as mentioned in the thread title, the best game on the Vita (Virtue's Last Reward) will be on sale too, and is a must-have title.

hmm, just started downloading Sports Friends on the PS4 but then stopped. Although I have the Move conrollers, I assume I would need the PS4 camera rather than the PS3 move camera?

Yes?

I'll answer this myself... Answer: Because Sony.

Also, the reason Virtues Last Reward is still showing as £24.99, while Sony have said it should be £8.25 and Rising Star say it should be £7.49... Because Sony.

I swear, I don't know how they can repeatedly f' things up week in, week out on that PSN store. :x
