The Witness for £7?! I doubt I'll come close to finishing it, never mind 100% it, but it'd be totally rude not to get such a well spoken of game for a steal of a price.

How long is this sale for? Might pick up Thumper and Polybius for £7.50 each so I can complain when they are free next month.

Yes?

I'd 2nd that, it's very, very good and a surprising amount of game for the price.

Anticipating most of these being Plus games in the coming months, so won't be purchasing any of them (not that I'd have the time to play them anyway :()

I think a couple of us have mentioned it here before about liking Harvest Moon games without actually playing them and I would really like to try Stardew but it's not a game I want to be playing on the sofa.

My concerns with Stardew Valley, from the official™ thread:
Preezy wrote:I think I'm the same. I've got the PC version and I initially played it for a few days, then left it for a couple of weeks, then a couple of months, now it's sat collecting dust on my desktop.

Having said that, the console version still appeals to me greatly, even though I know I'll probably lose interest after an initial surge.

Chore games are at their best when they're portable, IMO. Sitting in front of your TV playing this kind of game really feels like your life is being wasted, but tending your crops while you're on the train or a plane is far more appealing.

I've had exactly the same response to every Harvest Moon game I've ever played. It always seems just like busy work and I get bored very quickly. But for some reason Stardew Valley really clicked with me. The chore stuff is still there but there is a layer of other micro-acheivements/quests in there as well and also the social, relationship stuff too. I'd almost certainly rather play it on Vita (and I may even buy a Switch if that's the only portable version) but it does work very well on console too.

Do so! I dunno if you'll enjoy it or not, but it really can't control any worse than the PS4 version. (Shitty FPS, or pacing or whatever, on it made controls feel iffy af for me.)

A lot more stuff has been added since I looked earlier and some things are now tempting me :fp: .

I'm even thinking about getting Knack at £3.99... :shifty: .

We've all been saying it for years now, but that has to be a monthly PS+ game at some point.

It's reached the point where I can't pay £4 for it because, after all this time, surely it's got to arrive on Plus soon, right?
