Amazon failed to deliver my Farpoint order for release day and if you have a nice chat with them they may throw you a £5 gift voucher.
I hope to have it Friday.

I can only assume that some folk still don't own it because they are waiting for the "Game of All Time" edition :datass: .

Laughable when you can get the PC version for a few pound.

Deaths... are you gonna post this every time someone mentions a console game price? . I don't think too many folk will be disappointed in it if they splash out the tenner. If PC players can get it for less... that's great, too.

I don't think my laptop could handle this so if I was to purchase it (which I'm not, sorry Jawa) I'd be left with little choice but to go console.

You just don't get it Preezy.

If you spend £1000 on a decent PC or laptop, then you can save £7 on a copy of Mad Max.

That means you are £7 up.

It's basic maths.

Tbh, I:be probably save thousands on PC games in the last year, I've literally bought around a 1000 pc games since having a gaming PC.

The amount spent on the console is irrelevant (as actually I think you could spend £500 to get a PC that runs this as well as a PS4). My point is that £9.99 for a 2 year old game doesn't feel like a sale, particularly when it is on another format for a third of this. You are right though, it is basic maths - higher upfront cost for a PC but big savings compared to a console over the lifetime.

I lack the capital for a new gaming PC/laptop. Not that I'm even really looking to buy any new games, but still, it's depressing how little cash I have to spend on gaming these days, and what little I do have I spend on retro titles from the 4th and 5th generation  :fp:

Why does this have to descend into console versus PC argument. £10 for a full game with 20+ hours of solid gameplay and pretty positive reviews from almost everyone IS good value. The price on another format is not relevant to whether someone would enjoy it for that price.

It isn't an argument and when you have both formats the price is very relevant.

Steam World Heist is currently 80p (with 2 other games on Humble Bundle) if it makes you feel any better.

It's not very relevant in the PS Store thread.

It would be relevant in the Mad Max thread (I assume that's a 2000 page thread only posted in by Jawa).

It's funny you should mention that, Moggy, as in the PSN GRcade community I posted loads - loads! - of screenshots. If anyone wanted to view the community and scroll back to late 2015/early 2016, this would provide a wonderful evening's entertainment. Pour a drink, grab a handful of two of snacks and let beautiful apocalyptic scenes caress your eyeballs.

Star Ocean Till The End Of Time is £16.99 on the Store... Seems a bit much compared to previous PS2 PS4 releases. It looks so much uglier than I remembered, judging from the preview images. I think I'll wait for a sale. I really want to play it again though.
