I'm now on my 3rd update for the For Honor bata with each update being about 8gb in size.

A bloody beta with 3 8gb updates within the space of a week :fp: .

Actually, I need some recommendations and this seems as good a place as any.

I finished Steamworld Heist, and loved it. I realised that I think it's the turn-based element - I'm playing on public transport, and I generally have poor concentration, so the slower pace of turn-based games suits me.

Are there any turn-based games that I could look at now on Vita? I don't want a tonne of story, so heavier RPGs are out. An action RPG might be ok, but really I think it's more strategy stuff that I'm after.

I love both Heist and Advance Wars, if that helps.

Xcom is brilliant. Not sure how the Vita port is performance wise but it's turn based.

If you have a 3ds get ghost recon shadow wars as it's a similar thing and criminally overlooked.

I actually didn't realise Xcom was turn-based

Sweet, I'll try that next. Has it ever been on plus?

Rainbow Moon is worth a punt too on Vita, it's an RPG with turn based battles but it's not too complex.

Civ Rev 2 is decent. Not too overbearing, only real issue is it lack difficulty.

Darkest Dungeon on Vita is fantastic, the controls take a little getting used to but apart from that it's all good.

Do you often contemplate the complexity of life?

But it's a strawberry floating huge game. Loved it and plat'd it but my god it took me ages. Well over 100hrs.
The cloud cross saving across Vita and PS3 was great too

Just turned on 2-step verification, turned off auto-renew on Plus and removed my credit card details. Thought it was better to be safe than sorry with Sony's security.

Cool cheers, I've downloaded that as I had it from Plus anyway.

Ad - will get on to Xcom eventually. Maybe wait for it not to cost £16.

Cheers guys, will look into these too.

On another note, the largely poor Plus games for Feb go live today. I do like the look of Not a Hero; just wish it was on Vita.

It's been in a couple of sales since release (I think I paid around £6) so expect it to be in another one.

Cool, cheers. Will keep an eye out.

Just watched some Rainbow Moon videos; it looks decent. A 100-hour game is basically good for 200 Metro commutes, so maybe I just get on with it, and I'll see you in five months' time. :slol:

I regretted not getting Steamworld heist when it was on offer. Looked cool.

Still worth the full tag?
