I've had it on my Vita for yonks (it came with the system). Which version is held up as being the best?

I've played through both and I'd have to say the Vita version edges it for me. It just makes use of all the quirks of the Vita (back touch, camera) in so many imaginative ways. Also, the papercraft is better on the touch screen than on the PS4 pad (though you can use your phone with the PS4 version which is cool). Both are utterly tremendous though.

I'd play the Vita version, TBH. It was designed from the ground up for the Vita, and is one of the few games to take advantage of the handheld's features. (And it does so beautifully: it's not like bolted-on waggle, it really is joyous.)

It also uses the camera in ways that, if it doesn't bring a giant smile to your face, then you're dead inside.

Everyone should play the game. Honestly, it's majestic. But if you have the choice, play it on Vita.

Edit: totally concur with Rax. I'm actually going to do the PS4 version now that I can, just to see how they've done it. But seriously, it's the best Nintendo game that Nintendo never made.

What amazed me most about Tearaway on Vita (so much so that this is the billionth time I am mentioning it) was how Media Molecule managed to make every single one of the Vita's seemingly gimmicky features feel utterly natural to use whilst playing their game. Some of them even made me feel more closer to the game world than if they had been mapped to the analogue sticks, face buttons, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't get on as well with the PS4 version but I'll definitely be playing it if it does indeed end up being one of the March PS+ games.
My one gripe is I wish it had been more of a challenge to complete.

I'll be honest, I quite enjoyed sauntering through it. I have limited skills and it meant I discovered it all. I suspect the difficulty was set so that most players would get to see as much of their magnificent creation as possible.

(But yeah, it didn't pose much of a challenge for those that might have wanted one.)

I never played the Vita version but have been enjoying the PS4 version - it looks incredibly crisp and everything has the right amount of matte shine to make it all look like paper and some of the animations have that deliberate jerky look (as the game itself runs smoothly) of a stop-motion animation. Its also got much less floaty whimsy than LittleBigPlanet which I find a welcome change.

Vita version is better, but the PS4 version is terrific, too.

Played through the Vita version a few times, best game on it and as others have said really showed off the Vitas capabilities. Bought the PS4 version just before Christmas for about £4 during the Sales over Christmas on the PS Store so no real loss and it's great that many more will get to sample a wonderful game.

Loved the vita version and was loving the PS4 one until i got to an area which had no new features and I got a bit bored and started playing Xenoblad Chronicles X instead.

This is why I'd really like to see what MM can do with VR. They seem to come at things from a different angle to your average developer.

The PlayStation Store is doing an offer - spend £50 during March and get a £10 voucher to spend during April. It doesn't stack up; i.e. if you spend £100 you don't get two vouchers.

This may tip me over the edge for ordering Ghost Recon Wildlands...

EDIT: Updated: you don't have to spend £50 in a single transaction; it can be over the course of the month.

Alternatively don't spend £50 and you'll have a £50 voucher to spend wherever you want.

I don't know if its *meant* to be, but A KING'S TALE: FINAL FANTASY XV is up for free on the Store. Seems to be some kinda retro 2D beat-em-up...

That coincides nicely with me buying a £40 voucher from CDkeys so I can get Tethered. A nice sale on VR stuff by the end of the month wouldn't go amiss.

BTW, that deal above also includes pre-orders for Horizon Zero Dawn. So if you've bought that digitally then you've probably already qualified.
