Am I right in thinking if I don't renew I lose the following:

Free PS Plus Games
Cloud Saves
Online multiplayer gaming

Yeah, sounds about right. I did renew mine this year but thats because I usually play multiplayer, if I wasn't I'll probably not re-new at all. PS+ offerings has been rather disappointing - and I'd personally prefer to pay for the game so I can play it anytime rather than worry about not be able to play it when PS+ goes.

Store discounts tend to be focused towards PS Plus subscribers too, ‘Zilla.

Snap, man. I don’t mind paying to support the tech that enables online play... but I don’t want to pay someone to choose games for me to hire. I’d prefer better pricing on new titles.

It's same reason I'm eh on Games with Gold (although at least Microsoft lets you keep Xbox 360 games, so you do "own" them as soon as you activate these) alongside EA Access. Plus for some reason I enjoy the game if I happen to own it myself (though Switch games are exception as me and my boyfriend lets each other use others' games)

So I downloaded Dead Rising 4, can't wait to play it as I loved part 3 and have always had a soft spot for the series. It's now ready to play.... So I go to play it and .... Only the initial 6g or so has downloaded the remaining 48g and the dlc is ongoing. I can however go to a title screen, look at the game I can't play and change the controls..... To a game I can't play. So many games do this now, it's the biggest waste if time ever. Just download it or better yet let people pre download before it unlocks.

Wish my image sig would work

Playing this on the PC at the moment (only a few hours in). After finishing work tonight thought I'd have a quick game only to be greeted with a 6GB update (the new Capcom characters, but I assume you get more for 6GB).

Yes?

These Sony deals aren't really good, eh? Though I'm thankful because it means I can just save my money for presents, so hey :shifty:

Donnyer, I'm sure (hopeful) that there will be some great deals as we count down the last two or three deals...

By then I'll have some money to spare so I'm okay with that.

Nah joking aside, I do really hope there'll be good deals for people at least, so far it's pretty gooseberry fool :/

Seems like a silly question to ask, but is the Nier Automata demo any good? Obviously i could download it and find out for myself, but i don't want to play a demo that may actually put me off buying the game if its not representative of the game as a whole. Not sure if that makes sense, but i have encountered this problem a few times in the past.

Jak and Daxter Collection (Jak 1,2,3 and X) is £32.99, or £11.99 for each game separately.

Ah cool, that's good to know. Will give it a try tonight. Thanks!

A Lost Sphear demo popped up on the Store today. I think I'll save myself for the full game in January (on Switch ). I loved I Am Setsuna, and I'd be very surprised if I didn't love this.

Apparently Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is hitting the Store tomorrow. Wonder how much it'll be. If it's £50 I'll be waiting for a sale.

You probably know but the demo is also out on Switch today, really looking forward to it.

Never got I Am Setsuna due to buying about 5 rpgs back to back but hopefully clear some by release.

Any chance of getting assassins creed origins on this sale?
