Clearly not the point though, as I'm talking about a game I played last year, obviously I didn't play it muted and therefore have a hard time thinking about what it would have been like to have played without any sound.

You didn't specify it was Rime. It sounded as though you couldn't imagine what playing any game without sound would be like.

Which sounded a bit rude.

As we were talking about Rime, I thought it was pretty clear that's what I was talking about.

As for it being rude...nope just don't get it. I was trying to make it clear that my experience of a game would be different in a way that I wouldn't necessarily understand not being deaf, I actually think that presuming you'd know what difference it made without having lived that experience is pretty rude.

Actually, the way you worded it was clearly a blanket statement that you couldn't imagine a game without sound as you can hear. Admit your ignorance and stop being a nonce.

Being deaf myself, subtitles is a huge must when it comes to games. I do get that feeling that some games come alive with audio, but I’m not fussed.

Really surprised by how much I enjoyed it, I've actually finished it. I thought people said it was a hard game but if you jump all the time instead of dodging it's really not...

I enjoyed it so much when I originally played it that I went through it again with the gadget that shows where the hidden chests are. Just finished Knack 2 and deciding whether to go through it again.

Yes?

I'm doing that now. The weird discovery I've made is that the early parts of the game are tougher than most of the later parts...

That's a strong month, although less for me in a way, as I own R&C, and Bloodborne just sounds like something I'd be terrible at! But if that's the final lineup I can't complain.

If you've got a Pro then you need some R & C in your life, it looks utterly gorgeous.

Interesting Bloodborne is still going for ~£25 at the major retailers, you'd have thought a game that old would have seen big permanent reductions.

A new sale is launching in the Store today, focusing on "PlayStation Exclusives" alongside some DLC and indie title discounts. Click here for the full list although, at the time of posting, not all of the discounts have been applied yet.
