Raised 3X BB UTG + 2 earlier with 1010, UTG + 3 calls, rest fold apart from BB. Flop 7 9 2 - I C-bet half pot, UTG + 3 calls, BB folds. Turn is a 10 to give me a set. I bet half pot again, leaving myself pot size behind for river shove. UTG + 3 calls again. river is a J. There are four to a straight at this point but how many 8s is UTG+3 flat-calling with preflop, then calling a flop and turn bet with? At a push... 88 or A8ss but there's no flush draw on the board... Nevertheless, I shove the river and get instacalled. He shows KQo for the nuts straight.

Tomorrow is the quarterly regional Redtooth finals. Best part of the day is predicting the hand you bust with and the bad beat you receive - I'm predicting I'll bust with AQ against two unders... J9, J8, 109 etc. It's going to be so tilting
