Barely heard of him. Assume this more rake thing is a joke as who wants to pay rake.

It's taking the piss out of something Negreanu said on his video podcast quite a while ago defending Pokerstars when they increased rake. DNegs has sold out quite a lot to 'Stars and it's the #MoreRake has become a bit of a running joke. I thoroughly recommend having a look at Doug Polk's Youtube channel. He does a lot of hand analysis and general poker videos - most of which are quite funny. He's also doing a $100 to $10,000 bankroll challenge online so spent hours grinding at $0.02/0.04 online which has been quite funny. Does a lot of live streaming on twitch/YT. Really promoting poker on social media and trying to increase interest/participation.

Luckbox McKeehen has won the 10k Limit Hold'em event at the WSOP. In typical style, he ran very well.

I keep ~ min-cashing online and it's doing my head in :fp: - So many 8th, 9th, 10th place finishes in fields of 130ish and it's so frustrating to run deep and not make any real money out of it :fp: - I feel like I'm playing well at the moment - my game has improved a lot in the past 12 months, but I'm so frustrated right now.

I feel you, I've had about three final tables live but bubbled money in them recently.

Saving my run good for The Goliath!

I have noted that the Rendezvous in the marina is now doing a £30+6 NLHE/PLO tournament. I am sorely tempted to play.

Just seen that Selbst hand from Day 1 of the main event.

Frighteningly sick. Also there's a user on YouTube who is posting up all pokergo coverage from the main event. It starts here:

Yeah - the fact she said afterwards that she'd have folded it if she didn't have the A7 suited hands covered was sick.

Did anyone see the chip leader on day 5 get drunk and go from chip leader to bust in around 45 minutes... finishing with a ~1.8 million chip shove with 72o?

Yeah, agreed. ESPN are apparently showing the entire thing. If you have an android device download an app called Mobdro. You can stream pretty much any channel in the world from it.

Spoilers:
Absolutely thrilled that Antoine Saout has a chance to right the wrong from 2009. He played the best poker at that final table to go from 8th at the outset to chip leader with 4 remaining only for Cada to donk him twice.

Also to a lesser extent, Ben Lamb!

This John Hesp guy seems like an amazing character.
