I expect they shred the letters and will deport her in a few years time.

A week to receive a letter? Royal mail has really gone downhill.

I'm grateful I don't randomly capitalise words in the middle of sentences - its almost like there's a correlation between being racist and being thick/uneducated.

Yeah go back to where you came from David Lammy, go back to Whittington Hospital. I'm sick and tired of people coming from Whittington and taking advantage of us.

The wording of that letter is pretty shocking. There's a severe lack of common sense there.

The whole thing is a strawberry floating disgrace and it needs more work than Amber Rudd just making a piss poor attempt at an apology.

I realise that we are long past the days where ministers would resign out of a sense of honour/responsibility, but they need to sort this out now and stop strawberry floating about. If that means a suspension of the "hostile environment" (which is disgusting in itself) while it gets sorted out, then that's what they need to be doing.

Yeah, but "more higher" is atrocious grammar.

It's obvious to anyone that 28 people committing election fraud out of 44,000,000 is not going to alter the results in the slightest. Many more people are going to be deterred from voting under this new system, and it's more likely to be people who wouldn't vote Conservative.

Jeremy Hunt avoids £100,000 stamp duty by exploiting Tory tax loophole and buying flats in bulk

Stamp duty rules changed in 2016 so anyone buying a second home or buy-to-let property pays a 3% surcharge.

But bulk purchases of six properties or more are exempt, meaning Mr Hunt will have saved at least £94,500 by buying the seven homes at once .

Yeah, but those people don't vote Tory so it's really a positive move.

Voter ID movements are disgustingly undemocratic and usually racist.

The problem is that they went into that meeting knowing that not all of their demands can be met, but saying they wouldn't negotiate.

For example "an ombudsman should be appointed to oversee performance, reporting to the Party and to the Board of Deputies and Jewish Leadership Council"
Labour aren't ever going to give this group that sort of control.

Labour have already agreed to not share a platform with antisemites, and that current cases will be fully dealt with within next 3 months. They just didn't agree to all
the demands as specifically worded.

The Home Office and Downing Street were told in 2016 about problems faced by the Windrush generation, the BBC understands.

They were alerted after the Barbados government raised concerns with the Foreign Office, BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg said.

Labour has urged Home Secretary Amber Rudd to quit over the Windrush saga.

Ms Rudd told MPs she "bitterly" regretted not recognising the "systemic" problem sooner.

It’s so hard to tell if they are evil or incompetent.

I’m going for a mix of both.
