Upon hearing the glass shattering, Jorge Costa stood his ground. A guard approached him. "You expect us to surrender?", Costa asked, sneering.

The Frenchman surprisingly responded in English, albeit with a cold, French accent. "No. I expect you to die."

Costa drew his sword, determined to battle with valour. After holding off the attack of the guard, the swords became locked. Costa used his strength to send his opponent's weapon flying. Almost instinctively remembering his street fighting days on as a boy in Mexico, he side-kicked the guard to the floor and marched over to his fallen adversary's sword.

The guard, now favouring his chest and nearing his feet, was dazed. Costa turned to face him, now having the second sword in hand and muttered:

"This one's for Sykes."

Costa threw the sword ferociously like a throwing knife; it impaled the guard perfect with a sickening squelch, stopping only at the handle. The guard, fell back on his side, struggling for breath, as Costa observed the carnage around him.

Jorge Costa, Sir Roonmastor, Sir Sykes and Maury surrounded the final guard, who cowered into a corner. It was over for him.

Lionel Futch held out his gloved hand, and grasped the womans soft flesh...

All the guards lay dead, the inn abandoned. Prime for looting.

Choose which item you would like to take with you, or what random thing you wish to open

A clay hand grenade from ancient Persia
A bundle of decorated manuscripts
Open a locket closet
A bag of clipped silver coins
A steel longsword
Open a wooden treasure chest
Open a locked door
Loot the ales

Hi, Lionel here. My friends, I have seen the future, and the future is a bluff. Something about all us being dead apart from Lewis and him being offered money, bitches and gooseberry fool (and a personal army) by some shadowy jeweled figure. Now, this is meant to make me feel trepiditious towards Lewis, but I know strangers, and he's a trustworthy one. I mean, a hearty, ale-glugging knight or some creepy old.... thing that desperately wants me to take her hand? I'm going to stick with the boozehound, at least we can have some giggles.

However, I think this shadowy jeweled man will play a part, so keep an eye out for anyone who would best be described as a Jafar.

...

Ooh, I wonder what these manuscripts say? I think I'll pick them.

Sir Roonmastor picked up the clay hand grenade. It reminded him of his childhood.

Kronenberg wisely decided to leave the ale be and instead opened a locked door.

Lionel- You examine the manuscript pages. It seems the owner of this rural inn has some powerful connections, or is just damn lucky. They are very, very old and written in arabic. Your limited knowledge of Arabic allows you to translate the title of the pages as "Brian" and some words such as prophet, god, sacrifice, annoying scumbags.

Value: 60 gold.

Sir Roonmastor- The black clay hand grenade dates back to the 8th century, the time of the prophet Mohammed. It looks like it could once have had precious stones stuck to the body. The grenade obviously doesn't work but you think it's a good steal.

Value: 30 gold.

Maury Kronenberg- Using his steel might, he charged the door from its hinges. He found himself in a stable full of hay. Standing by the double doors by the exit was a black, strong looking horse. You approach it, and pat the horse down. It seems excited. You decide to bring it with you as your companion which you can use to your advantage.

Value: 40 gold.

The next part will be up tonight, so the others have more time to claim their prizes.

If they don't turn up, I call the treasure chest.

I've got a forum game sitting on my laptop but it was a bit more like TM's Resident Evil games in that the game world was more structured except mine was incredibly structured to the point it was too much. I had a whole battle system up, player stats and everything. Course, I worked out it wouldn't work in its current form so ditched it.

So if I ever brought that back it'd be done AQ style, and it was about an alien invasion present day. That or one about Pirates.

Also  I wanted the hand grenade to work. And let me have a go at reading those manuscripts, being the team Arab and all.

All five agents ran from the FBI headquarters and piled into a black sedan, armed. Agent Roonmastor, Agent Sykes, Agent Kronenberg, Agent Costa and Agent Futch.

The car sped out of the underground lot onto Pennsylvania Avenue. They had just recieved an anonymous tip that a bomb was about to be detonated at the George Washington Masonic memorial.

The place would be filled with tourists, they needed to help evacuate and prepare for the bomb squad who were just a minute behind them.

"A lot of the buildings being targeted are Masonic." Agent Roonmastor said.
"Just in America, because a lot of important buildings ARE Masonic." Costa replied keeping his eye on the road.

Speeding through the traffic they could see the tower getting bigger. But then there was a distant rumble.

Flames shot out from inside the memorial, the ground cracked slightly, people were thrown in all directions. The agents looked on in horror as a second explosion decemated the tower.

"strawberry float!" Futch growled, staring at the dozens of people lying still near the steps. A black van that was parked nearby suddenly pulled away and headed in their direction, topping the speed limit.

"Someone needs to go and help the people!" Sykes ordered.

This is an individual choice.

A- Get out and help as many people as you can. You will be rewarded.
B- Stay in the car and chase down the van.
C- Have a wank.

Whoever's driving the car needs to chase the van, I'll help the civilians.

Being the last name on the list, I doubt I'm even in the van. I'm likely at home watching it on the news. Think I'll have a wank.

Maury leapt from the van and sprinted across towards the steps whilst the rest remained in the car which went after the black van.

He could hear the ambulances drawing closer, giving him enough time to put out two burning people and move two away from the inferno.

Meanwhile, the agents in the car strapped in tight as they carooned sharply to the left, dodging taxis in a bid to keep up with the van. Luck was not on their side as a bus ploughed into the side of them.

Not far away...

The black van drove down a steep slope into the darkness underground. They were met at the bottom by a man in his sixties. Four men left the van and were greeted with praise.
"I heard the explosion from here!" the man chimed. "I hope casualties were minimal."
The driver looked grim. "If it was hidden there, it's detroyed now."
The old man sighed and stared down at the silver ring on his finger, with an image of two knights on a single horse. "Perhaps we are doomed to fail, just like my ancestors were."

Sir Sykes, Maury van Kronenberg, Jorge Costa, Lionel Futch and Sir Roonmastor sat on cold wood, naked and bound by a group of seven strangely dressed girls. Sykes was having terrible deja-vu.

"How are we going to get out of this one?" Sykes asked, listening as one of the girls mentioned "Guards". Roonmastor knew he had a dagger in his underpants over by a tree, but he also could strangle rather effectivley. "Psst, women." The one in red had the key to their chains. Five on seven? How hard could that be.

You have found yourself in a predicament. It is up you lot what to do next. Say what you wish to do to aid the escape, come up with a team effort. Use your writing skills to describe what happens next.

:shifty:

I reckon I strangle the sexy red head with the keys, possibly rubbing her face into my crotch whilst I do it, to choke her faster like, and then letting one of my brethren grab the keys and unlock us all. Sykes should go get the dagger from my undies seeing as we'd like him to live through this traumatic experience the second time around and the rest of us can just punch, kick and strangle our way to freedom before making full use of the still warm corpses.

Lionel attempted to dash towards a nearby tree for safety. He tripped, and his forehead smashed straight through the face of one of the girls. She wasn't dead, but she was no longer recognisably a woman, and lay twitching as the others watched, aghast. Mum would be so proud.
