Episode 4 has been the best of a disappointing series (so far).

I loved the Doncaster joke.

I'd actually love to see what Graham Linehan could do if he was let loose for a series of Red Dwarf.

It definitely needs new writers, it’s never been as good since Grant left.

Get a younger writer in that can have new ideas and who will avoid the “old man shouts at clouds” episodes we’ve seen recently like the recent one where offending people was illegal (lol top satire!!).

I still love it though, Red Dwarf will always have a place in my viewing.

Episode 4 was a bit of a return to form thankfully.

Final episode was the best of the series. Really felt like old Red Dwarf.

I think the show really misses Holly, it was great to see him back!

Yep, the final episode was fantastic and I really hope they make more.

Blimey both Norman Lovett and Mac Mc.Donlad are looking so old now, so awesome seeing them both in this episode though... really think they could of done a lot with the old crew returning instead of how they were tossed aside again in series whatever the smell it was.

Final episode even better than the previous one. Loved it!

Think we'll be waiting a long time for another series, if we ever get one.

Why can’t every episode be like this

PLAY | Final Fantasy VII Rebirth [92h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S2, HiJack S1, The Apprentice S18
RACE | Westonbirt Half (March), Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

Still trying to catch up with this, thoughts so far:

Episode 1 was terrible, for reasons I've already gone into in this thread. Not a good way to kick off a series and a shame considering the previous two series opened with fairly strong episodes. 1/5

Episode 2 - not as bad as the opener but still a poor episode. 1.5/5

Episode 3 - couldn't make it to the end of this one. Hadn't laughed in the first 10 minutes and couldn't make it any further.

Going to try episode 4 shortly, not holding out much hope at this point! I'll always watch the boys because Red Dwarf will forever be one of my favourite shows, but it's still sad that we don't get to see them back with something better than this.

I can’t remember what episode 4 was, but episodes 5 and 6 were decent.

There's hope yet then! I know I've still got the episode where Holly returns so hopefully that will be a good one.
