Currently up to series 6 on my rewatch and it's easily the best after 1 & 2, so many proper laugh out loud moments.

I watched it earlier and it wasn't bad at all.
I'm confident this will be a good series.

Loved the new episode! Already much better than anything from series X for me.

Yeah I echo that, great start and had a good feel of the great episodes from 1-3 and then the series after Red Dwarf got nicked and they were on Starbug. How many episodes is this series, hope it isn't just 6? I can live with 8 though!
Kryten has put on the pounds!

Great episode, got some genuine belly laughs when the two simulants were having a tiff in the bar.

Didn't realise there were two episodes, or has episode 2 only been released on demand so far? Either way, episode 2 was great as well as really reminds me of classic Red Dwarf. This is gonna be a great series.

Just saw the first episode and damn that was good. It felt like I was watching a proper classic Red Dwarf episode.
So many funny moments.

I'm waiting for the whole season to air before I dive in with a detailed post, but so far it's been ok. Better than X so far, but still not as good as 1-7.
And yeah the second one just ends, which I thought was odd.

Samsara was a really, really good Red Dwarf episode. My favourite of the new ones is still the one with Lister on the telephone.

They're better suited to be playing the alternative timeline crew, the corrupt ones who hung out with the Nazi's, etc.
