Not sure what you're trying to tell me there Venom.

I was just pointing out that I called DLC transfer and instrument compatibility earlier in the thread.

Bit of a stretch this one but will my 360 DLC transfer over to PS4? Rock Band was the last thing I kept my 360 for but I finally traded it all in last year and I'm not buying an XBONE just for Rock Band 4.

The instrument compatibility isn't 100% guaranteed, they're "working aggressively with Sony anf Microsoft to make that happen".

From what I've read, no. I'd give you some proper quotes but I'm on my phone.

Still, HYPE.

Falsey wrote:I was reading the DLC stuff on the rock band site (which has made my eyes go gozzy with the horrid colour scheme), and it does say the DLC will carry, but not when.

Players who’ve purchased or downloaded playable tracks on last-generation consoles will be able to download and play those tracks on their new platforms at no additional charge*. Hundreds of tracks will be available at launch, with more back catalog music – and new tracks – to be added regularly after launch.

Q: Will my old DLC work on the next gen console of the same type, i.e. PS3 -> PS4?
A: Yes! Content purchased from the store or exported from a disc will transfer over to the new generation of consoles at not addition cost as we make that content available.

Translation: Yes the DLC will work for free - when we get around to porting it/buying the license.

I like this, it means i can play my lego rock band songs too :D

Rock Band's coming back!

This might be the game that makes me get an Xbone. I wouldn't want to repurchase all the DLC I got on the 360 if I got the PS4 version.

Hopefully the songs from RB3 will be exportable. I'd also like to see a MIDI adapter released (or at least make the current version compatible) but if keys aren't coming back they might not bother.

The only pro mode they're supporting are Drums

No rock band 3 export unless they see a demand for it... So go post on their forums and ask and tbem licence an export
