That was me. You think the two things might be connected?

Moving Pictures DLC, this news please me greatly. Only another 17 studio albums to go now. Before the end of the year please, Harmonix.

Possibly, but I could also be wrong.

Maybe Harmonix should just release a Rush edition of Rock Band. With synthesiser.

Very good news, been on the tipping point of buying some Rush albums for a while now. If I like this album beyond the better known songs then I'll likely have plenty more music to add to my collection.

Good to see the first instrumental music for Rock Band, it's silly to restrict the game to music that has all the band roles fulfilled. Especially if you may add new instruments at some point down the line. No point standing still and letting a future Guitar Hero force you into adding new stuff. Just label everything clearly in the store and leave the rest to 'buyer beware'.

I'd love to see some Buckethead stuff appear as DLC.

Good call... not that I know anything by Buckethead, but the Soothsayer DLC for GHIII is great.

Two ace ones to get you started.

Yes a twenty odd minute jazz solo would be great fun to play. Something a little ironic about having to play a largely improvised music style the same every time, though.

I would love some blues, the Who covers were great and some original artists would be wonderful.

The trouble is, would either sell enough to a market that likely has very little knowledge of them?

At what time does the DLC usually appear in the Music Store? I thought it was at 10am so I've checked a few times since then, but nothing new has appeared yet.

Well Buckethead had a song on GHII, and and a song via DLC on GHIII, so I see no reason not to have some on Rock Band, or even GH:WT

That's if you were talking about Buckethead!

Maybe I'm alone in this but does anyone else wish the music store would preview tracks autonmatically in the same manner as the in game playlists?
I've been browsing it recentley and it's really infuriating to click on every song I've never heard of (a good 50 - 70% of them) and then preview, and then back to the menu whereupon it plays automatically for ever more...

Don't check the "New Releases" section as that doesn't get updated for quite a while after the content is put up. But yes, content is up around 10ish, give or take 15 min.

I was talking about Jazz and Blues Jimmy. Yes most people with Rock Band would know Buckethead from that bloody "Jordan" in GHII. Still haven't passed that song. :x

Just came in to post that, bit of a bugger.

Hopefully it won't take too long, but the lack of details is worrying.

Bugger!

Not taken much interest in this thread as I've not played Rock Band much recently, but I've just seen the track list for Rock Band 2. Although 95% of the songs on the track list don't interest me at all, the inclusion of Bob Dylan's "Tangled Up In Blue" makes me want this game immediately.

The big problem for me is that I imported the PS3 version of Rock Band so I'm going to have to wait till Rock Band 2 is released in the states before getting my hands on it. Just typical that M$ have got an exclusive on it for a while. :(

Anyone else buy the DragonForce pack for GHIII? I only even got close to finished Operation Ground and Pound on Expert. I think i'll go do them on Hard later, just so it's not a complete waste of money. So bloody hard!
