WTF SRLY? :|

I thought the legal part of the patch was removing MTV Games logo and adding the Madcatz one.

Yeh looks like it wasn't intentional and will hopefully be fixed.

They have added the crashing thing in when pirate DLC or custom songs were detected, but it looks like Dani California is being caught up in it and other songs.

I'm not patching until it's fixed because I'd rather keep Muse and I don't care about the 2 songs that were supposed to be added.

If they do it'll be a 'RB3 Version' as regular DLC and chargable.

Any songs missing from RB2 export were never part of the export pack.

would you advise not to play rb3 at the moment and dont you still need the rb3 disc even to play downloaded / imported content? o_O

I think that that only happens when you try to play Dani California on the Xbox 360... at least from what I've read.

Drej wrote:would that mean that if I load rb3 today (uhmm and the disc still works) ill have those two tracks in my library?

Yes they should be there. After a Title Update Rock Band always rebuilds the library of your songs, so once that has finished both of the old RB1 exports should be in the list. They're both already on your HDD but had previously been blocked.

great thanks for the info... forgot I had both of those songs on other rb games, since i merely bought the older ones to build up my library :D

Patch for RB1 EU Export Issues
hmxhenry wrote:Thanks to everyone for providing information and for your continued patience. Both have been extremely helpful in helping us identify the issue quickly and get to work on a fix.

As many of you may have noticed, this issue is directly related to 360 EU copies of RB1, which shipped with a different setlist than RB1 in the US. Complications on the back end with the unique setlist, export and now the title update, have caused the trouble users in this thread have reported.

The good news is that your quick and concise feedback has helped our QA team identify the cause, and they have been hard at work on a correction since the first posts started rolling in on Tuesday. They'll continue testing through the end of the day tomorrow, and we should have a fix in place to submit to Microsoft first thing next week. Once submitted, we'll post updates as progress is made and outline next steps.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding while we work to resolve the situation. We shouldn't need any additional user info so feel free to kick back, enjoy the new DLC and we'll keep you posted!

But I can't actually sing...

I might try and make another video soon actually, claim it's an overdrive guide or something. :shifty:

DLC Week of 11/15 - Stevie Wonder 5 Pack! Superstition, Higher Ground & More!
hmxhenry wrote:Hey gang,

Renowned Motown artist Stevie Wonder makes his long-awaited debut in Rock Band on November 15th! Wonder, whose musical career has spanned a remarkable 49 years, is the recipient of multiple industry awards and honors, including 22 Grammy Awards. “Stevie Wonder Pack 01” brings some of this legend’s biggest hits to the Rock Band Music Store next week!

The pack is kicked off with “Superstition,” a now legendary track written by a then 22-year-old Wonder, off of the 1972 album, Talking Book. The funky, Moog synth bass of “Higher Ground” and the grooves of “Living for the City,” both off of 1973’s Innervisions, also make the cut. “Sir Duke,” a Billboard hit written as a tribute to jazz great Duke Ellington, and “I Wish” – both from the double platinum and critically acclaimed album, Songs in the Key of Life – round out the pack.

All tracks feature support for keyboards, as well as harmonies and pro-drums when played with Rock Band 3. Additionally, “Sir Duke” and “I Wish” are both eligible for a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrade.

Available on Xbox 360, Wii™ and PlayStation®3 system (November 15th, 2011):

Superstition
Higher Ground
Living For the City
Sir Duke X
I Wish X

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system November 16th)

The tracks will be available as “Stevie Wonder Pack 01” or for purchase individually on Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii™. Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

Oh hell yeah. Looking forward to some funky keys on this pack! Definitely a sweetener for an otherwise dire (working) day.

m8. I'll be getting that entire Nickelpack (only one bad song there). By the Way is a must, and I might grab the Under the Bridge upgrade too, if I'm feeling particularly generous. Why the hell were the RHCP's songs not Pro Guitar enabled to begin with?

By the Way and that Rain Dance Maggie certainly didn't, pretty sure it was the pack that also came with Pro Guitar Californication. Think Under the Bridge was earlier, though.
