Also, maybe a full band sesh tonight? I'm about from 8 when the challenge goes live.

I should be around about then too. Will probably only have the .38 Special track, though.

Should be another easy week. It's not as if my scores mean anything any more, with the new guy tearing it up  :(

He is a one man band :datass:

I'm pretty sure that I don't have that Hendrix track myself. But I have the other two. If you buy the RB3 version from the Xbox website then you'll get the DLC for the older games and it'll be in your ready to install for RB4. If you buy the RB4 version then you don't get the 360 version of the DLC for free.

Here's the pack it's part of. Not sure what the price is for the 7 song pack.

“Experience Jimi Hendrix 01”
  • The Jimi Hendrix Experience – “Long Hot Summer Night” O
  • The Jimi Hendrix Experience – “Gypsy Eyes”
  • The Jimi Hendrix Experience – “All Along the Watchtower” X
  • Jimi Hendrix – “Voodoo Child (Slight Return) (Live)”
  • Jimi Hendrix – “Dolly Dagger”
  • Jimi Hendrix – “Freedom” O X
  • Jimi Hendrix – “Angel”

Should be around for about 9 I would think. If there's a space on any of the player slots then I'll play with you... otherwise not to worry. It's best to stick to just XP rather than Spotlight when playing online (your highscore is negatively impacted by other people if you play locally or online in a band rather than solo)

Don't think I want to purchase the Hendrix song and I'm a full 8,000 points off the pace on the .38 special song - there are only two on-disc songs I have worse scores on. Sorry guys :dread:

If it was Voodoo Child I'll be all over that. Stealth best Jimi tune

All Along the Watchtower is on my list but the rest of that pack doesn't ring a bell. Might get it anyway, maybe find some new favourite tunes.

They should be all grouped together on the store as they were released on the same day. You can get the 30 second preview of each track by hovering over each single (packs don't have previews unfortunately)

Well that was fun, wasn't it?! Definite lag on the button presses for me there, but...ace. Awesome.

yeh sometimes the lag is strange. I'm not sure if it's lag or not and it's not always there.

The worst thing I find is being on the instruments and being stuck on the far left or right side. Takes a bit of getting used to after you have been playing solo in the same gaming session and had the whole screen to yourself

It's part of the spotlight pass, so I'm guessing yeah.

Let's hope so :datass: Rivals is nearly a year old and we haven't had one yet.

Some people are speculating that it might be a vocals challenge week (with vocal plays getting a bonus)

Let's hope so! I'm not even sure if XP was working properly last week. I'm sure I played a bunch of songs and didn't get any credit for them.

Should get the rest of the months DLC announced today hopefully, not sure why it hasn't been yet :|

It is indeed - double xp for vocalists!
The 2 new tunes and that 'Rock n Roll, Hoochie Coo' or whatever are the Spotlight songs.

Rock and Roll, Hoochie Coo is a particular favourite of mine. Looking forward to this!
