That would have been mine but I think it's one of those songs I've played to death in the early days :slol:

Strongly considering getting the 360 and plastic guitar out of the loft for a jam. Does anyone else still have access to their instruments?

Yeah I have mine out every now and again when I have a group of friends over. Not as often as I'd like now I have kids.

I've got the guitars lying around and the original Rock Band drum kit (with replacement drum pedal :shifty: ) set up at the moment. Trying to clear some more space so I can set the Ion kit up again...

Avenged Sevenfold – "Hail to the King"
Fleetwood Mac – "You Make Loving Fun"
Jack White – "Lazaretto"
The Killers – "Somebody Told Me"
Spin Doctors – "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"
The Who – "The Seeker"

First six songs.

I'm happy with more A7X :shifty:

Oh dear.

The Killers track is the only half good one there but it's boring to play IRL (it's in Rocksmith), so I'm not going to rush to play it.

Didn't realise people still cared about Jack White :shifty:

Give us some good stuff next pls

Seeker is good, the rest I'll play once to golden five star and then never again. In terms is popular songs though, it's a good reveal that should boost the anticipation for a lot of people. Happy with it in that respect.

Pretty decent selection, not fond of Avenged Sevenfold but I know they appeal to some people.

Isn't The Killers – "Somebody Told Me" already in? I'm sure that was in The Killers pack.

Same for The Who – "The Seeker"? Although I think that was a live version previously

More Fleetwood Mac and Lazaretto though :datass: :datass:

Good start

No, The Killers pack had 'Smile Like You Mean It', 'Mr. Brightside' and 'Spaceman'.

It's a bit disappointing that it's just more of the same artists, though. They're pretty quickly going to run out of decent Avenged Sevenfold, The Killers and the Who songs (tbf they did two or three games ago). Guess it's easier to negotiate with bands they've already got licenses with, though.

Is The Chain available as DLC? Delta Rae covered it the other day live and now I can't get it out of my head.

There are only so many rock bands to choose from though, especially in this day and age where it's not a particularly popular genre of music. That said they ought to be including some more recent artists like Royal Blood.

The last game had Amy Winehouse in, so they're not really restricted by genre ;) Hopefully the next batch of songs throws a few new artists in there...

I think that was more for keys than anything else. Which have now been given the chop.

...I hope that's the case anyway

Amy deserves to be there just as much as anyone else

I'm hoping for another Arctic Monkeys as they've licensed them recently as well as Royal Blood.

I have no idea why Tame Impala still isn't in this game, how many times do I have to request them :dread: They've got a lot more popular the last few years though so hopefully finally some Psychedelic will be represented.

Probably another Deep Purple too? Them and The Who are present on the disc setlists usually.

Tame Impala is a good shout, I'll go request them too. Personally I'm a big fan of Scandinavian rock (Kent, Mew, Radio Dept etc) so I'd love to see something like that. But I get that it has limited appeal in the major markets.

It's a shame RBN is finished now that Microsoft has stopped the XNA program, because those are the kind of bands we could get from that. Hopefully now both consoles are more open to indies Harmonix can get a RBN3.0 setup on there own without the help of Microsoft and Sony.

I only ever downloaded two RBN tracks (Rodrigo Y Gabriela and Band Of Horses I think). Most of it was just horrible thrash metal and novelty shite.
