I’ve been taking a bit of a break from the challenges and just playing the songs I like on Rock Band every now and then.

I’m back for the push to Bloodstone, though. Let’s do this. The rewards get worse and worse though.

(Hoping I’ll have a lot of songs that meet the criteria :shifty: )

They should start giving rewards out in the form of a download token for like, five songs or something dependent on where you finish. That’d motivate me. :slol:

Downloaded a few really good songs for the challenge last week - All The Rage Back Home was excellent.

I'm getting a bit burnt out on Rock Band too :(

Shame they've picked the worst of the two new songs as a Spotlight this week

Last push for Bloodstone this season and then an extended break for all of us beckons, I think. For a small group with only four or five consistently participating members, I think we've done some really good work to finish in diamond and bloodstone consistently over the course of the eight week seasons.

DLC for this week - Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox 20.

It would be the song that I'm not totally sold on that's the Spotlight, wouldn't it? :x Slide is a fantastic song  Hope that means we might get more Goo Goo Dolls at some point. Wonder what the challenge will be, though.

Nothing for me this week. Spotlight pass has been a bit naff this season, only about half I'd buy so I think I'll skip that and buy everything individually.

I'm not really sure what this weeks genre challenge was meant to be or have they given up on that now? Seemed to be pop and funk last week

Bit of Rob Thomas for the spotlight this week - I’m alright with that. I want bloodstone this week, to see what the level of competition is like in the top league just for a week. If it’s a challenge that I have a good amount of DLC on I’m gonna set a target of 50,000XP for myself. I really don’t have time though so we’ll see how that goes :slol:

I won’t be on until Sunday evening probably but good luck! I’ll try and match the XP I got this week. I think if we do the same as this week we should be okay as more teams will be going up!

We were a way off this week but the plan is to get promoted to the top league this week and then invite you back in

VESUVIUS! Hier Kommt Alex  might have to buy that again.

I noticed I could download Visions the other day, too.

(Gonna be crap at the spotlight tunes this week though, guys. Will hopefully make up for it in XP)

Superunknown has an achievable top score on vocals. Not sure about the other two, will download them when I get home and get stuck in. :D

The challenge *really* speaks to me this week in terms of XP. I've got all of the sale songs except Kool Thing, which I'mma pick up. It would feel appropriate for me if an alt-rock challenge got us promoted to Bloodstone this week, really looking forward to it! :D

Where did we find that crew member? He's come in and destroyed the drums on this week's challenge! What a hero.

Nice one Frank. Genuinely think it's gonna take 150,000xp to sit comfortably in the promotion zone this week. Those two crew members have blitzed our scores - we're seventh at the moment for spotlight. If another 20,000 could be squeezed out of Superunknown's guitar I think we'd be laughing there too.

We have a pretty good lineup now :datass: I think last week helped, even though we didn't get promoted we made ourselves look better on the overall leaderboard and I imagine we are one of the few teams up top with spaces still

Nice job everyone, I will try to get 10,000XP+ but I'm not sure how much time I will have this week :(

Seether & Amy Lee  Bet that won't be the spotlight song either.
