Thanks for trying, though, BID0!

No problem. I just tried and got the same thing. Technically it's working as intended as you should be able to use a foreign billing address, I just wish they accepted U.K. Orders :fp:

If they have 3,000 now that seems a lot. If every single person ordered the maximum of 2 that's 1,500 people. Surely some will be left over and they'll put them on Amazon again? I've signed up to email alerts for the adapter on Amazon.com

Are we really having a week off? I can certainly get most of the appropriate songs played, from Monday onwards.

I had a bit of a smash earlier, I'm still putting scores in, but I'm not sure we'll be able to push us over the threshold

I'll try and put scores in and shove 10,000XP on the board if I can.

Rock Band Blitz is being pulled from XBL and PSN on August 28th. I thought it was a barrel of bollocks personally, but I know some people were fans. The exportable tracklist is worth the asking price if you haven't gone for it yet.

"Although we do try, unfortunately we're not always able to assist or fulfill special order requests. Again, we do apologize for any inconvenience."

Absolutely strawberry floating useless.

Even if they don't send me a bloody adapter I'm getting that line about international special orders removed from their website. Lying imbeciles.

Wish the Viabox shopping service would just accept strawberry floating PayPal, too. Why can I only pay with bitcoin? :dread:

EDIT: Just emailed Harmonix to find out why they're okay that the peripherals aren't actually available in the markets that the game is, and why they chose the PDP partnership. Presuming they'll trot out the same bullshit but hopefully they're more likely to reply on email that on twitter

So, PDP have done nothing so far but restate that they can't ship to the UK (claiming the "international shipping" line is for requests for spares, etc - But if they don't ship internationally, how have people got products that need spares? :shifty: ), and finishing with the line "Regarding the Legacy Adapters, this will be the last restock."

Really, unbelievably unhelpful. So I've just emailed Harmonix and said if that's the case, and I don't manage to get one, I'm done. I'm not spending any more money on the franchise or the company if I'm blocked from using my £200 controller with the game simply because I don't live in the one country that their supplier stocks.

Doubt I'll really miss much if the recent DLC is anything to go by.

EDIT: might finally be getting somewhere with PDP but don't count your chickens and all that....

That sucks. Hopefully it means a Blitz 2 is on the way.

Here is the tracklist for anyone who hasn't picked it up:
December 18th 2012
  • Elton John - "I'm Still Standing"
December 25th 2012
  • My Chemical Romance - "Sing"
December 30th 2012
  • P!nk - "Raise Your Glass"
  • Fun. ft. Janelle Monae - "We Are Young"
January 8th 2013
  • Foo Fighters - "These Days"
  • Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera - "Moves Like Jagger"
  • Foster the People - "Pumped Up Kicks"
January 15th 2013
  • Rick Springfield - "Jessie's Girl"
January 22nd 2013
  • Kelly Clarkson - "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)"
  • Soundgarden - "Spoonman"
  • Living Colour - "Cult of Personality"
  • Quiet Riot - "Bang Your Head (Metal Health)"
February 5th 2013
  • Great White - "Once Bitten, Twice Shy"
  • Iron Maiden - "The Wicker Man"
  • Queen - "Death on Two Legs (Dedicated To...)"
  • Avenged Sevenfold - "So Far Away"
February 19th 2013
  • Fall Out Boy - "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More "Touch Me""
  • Barenaked Ladies - "One Week"
  • Collective Soul - "Shine"
March 5th 2013
  • blink-182 - "Always"
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Give It Away"
  • All American Rejects - "Kids in the Street"
March 19th 2013
  • Shinedown - "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)"
  • Kool and the Gang - "Jungle Boogie"
  • Tears For Fears - "Shout"

They were all released as separate DLC, but if you buy the Blitz game then you get all 25 songs free (and also playable in RB4). You don't need a 360 or PS3 to get the free songs now either, so even if you have no intention of playing the Blitz game on your PS3 or 360, then you do get all of these songs on the cheap.

This Weeks DLC: INDIE HITS
Summer’s a great time for high-energy indie, so we’re delivering songs from Blondfire and The Shelters this week to give your summer the soundtrack it deserves.

“True Confessions” is first up this week. The lead single off the latest Blondfire EP of the same name, “True Confessions” is a great way to introduce listeners to Erica Driscoll’s new style of heavier guitars and darker melodies. It’s even featured in Rock Band VR, where you can craft your own guitar line. The harmonies are quick to learn, while a disco beat keeps the energy high. There’s also a dance bassline running through the song that gives the whole thing a nice groove.

The Shelters’ song “Rebel Heart” is another track coming to Rock Band 4 from Rock Band VR. The lead single from their self-titled debut (which was co-produced by Tom Petty), “Rebel Heart” is one of many examples of The Shelters’ throwback, heartland-tinged sound. Twin guitars and harmonies permeate every track on the album. The guitar riff in “Rebel Heart” has an iconic sound, and the solo is great to play. All the instruments are swung in this track, meaning everyone will be working together to carry the song along.

Songs can be purchased individually for $1.99 each.
  • Blondfire - "True Confessions"
  • The Shelters - "Rebel Heart"

I'll nab Blondfire for sure, they sound kind of like Metric

Harmonix' response "check on ebay".

It's amazing that a music company can be so okay with the practise of buying something up to then sell it on for a ridiculously inflated price. It's like they haven't quite realised that PDPs refusal to ship internationally is essentially allowing people to list legacy adapters for such exploitative prices. Absolutely mind-boggling. And so, so unhelpful.

It's like "if you don't live in Boston, we don't give a gooseberry fool" :|

I don't think they'll survive to Rock Band 5... :fp: How can they be so bad at being a company?

It really sucks :( I think the best thing that can happen is if Amazon US stock them again. I don't know why PDP don't do that themselves :fp: it saves them doing all of the distribution and money headaches

We aren't going to get promoted again unless we get a better crew roster.

Alright Buff :| no sugar coating out shitness

I did manage to get a 900+ skill person to join us last night while I was putting in some scores but they almost immediately quit out.

If we let this week play out then we can fire innactives and try and recruit fresh blood over the first few weeks while our shitness is still hidden

On the plus side, when I logged off last night, we were one place above GAF B sides crew on the spotlight leaderboard.

You can remove me if you want, I don't get anywhere near as much time to play as I'd like.

I didn't say we were gooseberry fool! We just need more people putting the XP in. I know that I've only just started :shifty:
If we never get promoted again, we're still really high anyway.

Looks like the myUS personal shopper service has actually gone through, so they've bought an adapter and charged me (+ their $10 commission).

So if PDP come through I might actually end up with two adapters :slol: This can only end well.

It'll take a few weeks for it to turn up, so it'll probably be season 2 before I get to the sweet sweet scores. Just hope at least one of them actually comes through now!
